As any wedding vendor will agree, there is always one client in your career that just isn't going to be satisfied with anything you do. Please read her other vendor reviews for insight into her mindset.Her skin was heavily blemished, the airbrush isn't Photoshop, it won't make the spots disappear magically. But when photographed your skin does look amazingly better. What people don't understand that scrutinizing your face up close in the car mirror isn't what your makeup is going to look like shot on a professional digital camera 5-20 feet away. And makeup done by a professional isn't going to be exactly like you do it everyday for work. A lesson for all brides when dealing with any vendor is let them know when you aren't happy and we will bend over backward to fix any problem. We are professionals who deal with every issue imaginable and if you don't speak up when something is wrong, you will never get satisfaction, only frustration. You are spending a lot of money on this one day, you will never hurt a vendors feelings if you don't like something and let them know. Had she told me in advance about her tan lines, I would have reminded her to wear a sleeveless shirt so I could cover the lines appropriately. She showed up in a T-shirt and sprung it on me after already starting that she needed her lines fixed. Without her taking her shirt off, there was no way to get to her upper body. I did not charge extra, and being a plus sized bride, it took me extra time to try to fix her arms. Had I known I needed to do this, I would have allotted more time so we didn't run over. As for her hair, she chose the photo, I recreated it. I did redo it, to move up the curls a little higher on her head.Concerning her bridal portrait, if her photographer would like to send me a copy of the photo I will be more than willing to correct it in Photoshop for him. All it takes is a simple mask and a few layers.Wedding day, I was late, I will admit that, but I also had to wait on people to show up because they weren't there on time. The bride had to keep wrangling her mother to sit down so I could get done. When I am finished with a client, I ask them to please go look in the mirror to see if any changes need to be made. When you come back and tell me, no it looks good, then I assume you like it, and no changes need to be made. Once again ladies, if you don't like it, please let me know, I will change it immediately. That is the great thing about makeup, it's easy to fix if something is not to your liking.


As of July 2009 I contacted her to resolve the issues and offer to reshoot her bridal portrait or fix them in Photoshop for her. When traveling from Allen to Mansfield, traffic and directions sometimes get muddled. The important point was she was finished on time and loved her look. At no time was a rash ever mentioned because alternative precautions would have been taken so not to occur again.
