We had a small wedding party, just me, my fiancee and my niece. I did not have other girls in the party which made it tricky to find a salon to work with just one person on a Sunday morning. The salon manager Nikki wound up being my stylist for the big day. She was beyond great. The trial run went smoothly and my hair looked even nicer on the actual wedding day. I had an updo which was curled and put into place. I felt like a total princess and got more compliments on my hair and makeup, the day of and in all the photos that friends saw. I hope to have another special day that I can have my hair done by Nikki again. She was delightful to work with and helped me to stay relaxed during the time leading up to the wedding.

I highly recommend Jordan thomas in Bel Air. Allison did my hair and she is the best at what she does. I would recommend her to everyone I know. The same for kelly who did my makeup. My makeup looked gorgeous on my wedding day. No other makeup artist could have done better. These two are truely the best at what they do.

My bridesmaid set this up for us as this is her salon, and she loves it. My hair stylist is in MA, and went on maternity leave during my wedding, and because the wedding was set in MD, I had to find something local. The salon has a wedding coordinator, who was initially awesome, but as I made a couple of changes and wanted confirmation, I didn't hear from the coordinator and I began to get nervous. The salon was a huge splurge for me, I booked hair, makeup (plus trials) and mani/pedis for my bridesmaids and myself here. My incredible bridesmaid investigated and found out that the job duties had switched to a new coordinator. The old coordinator stepped up and made sure everything was booked, including finding an additional technician to come in for mani/pedis so no one had to wait. Everything was confirmed, and smooth sailing for the hair/makeup trial, mani/pedis and the day of. I was really pleased at how quickly it was fixed once we identified the problem.

In addition, I was incredibly impressed with the stylists. I was not sure about getting a trial done, but I'm glad I did. I was able to work with the makeup artist to modify the makeup palette and got to build a relationship with the hair and makeup stylists so I already knew them on the day and was less nervous. They were both artists, very serious and thoughtful about their work, lovely and supportive. I wanted a specific hairstyle, and I had silk flowers to put in my hair, and the stylist was able to achieve this look way beyond my expectations. My makeup lasted all day, and photographed beautifully.

On the day of, I was really pleased with how well everything ran. The salon had a breakfast spread and mimosas for us that completely calmed my nerves. The stylists took over and knew exactly what to do. Despite the initial problems, we were set up with a team of really talented individuals and treated well. I felt really beautiful, calm and pampered.

They were a little pricey, but my air was gorgeous, so it was worth it!
