My aunt started this salon, which is one reason I knew about it. I have gotten my hair done there a lot of times in the past, so I knew I could trust that my stylist would be available to do my hair for my wedding. They also provided make-up services. They are, hands down, the best value. I got my hair and make-up done, plus a trial for both, for $300. Most of the places I looked were about $500 for the day-of, plus an additional $100 for the must-have trial. You pay $150 for the trial, and $150 the day-of, plus any tips you'd like to leave for your make-up artist and stylist. They do amazing work, and they're very professional. They will do anything you ask, and even have a computer for you to show them images of your inspirations. They also have complimentary coffee, water, tea, sodas and snacks.

I ended up booking the Salon for hair/makeup for myself, and my maid of honor, mother, groom's mother, and 3 flower girls for my wedding. It was a Sunday, so basically we had the whole salon for a few hours that morning. They said we could bring in food/drink if we wished! I also had a trial about 3 months ahead. My hair is pretty fine, and my updo seemed a bit flat, so I purchased some fake hair at a kiosk at the mall, and they were able to incorporate that on the big day. My makeup seemed a bit more caked on on the big day as well, but you couldn't tell in photos, so, it all turned out great! Everyone was very nice and helpful, and I remained calm and relaxed on my big day!

Angela is a wonder woman when it comes to doing makeup! After having my first makeup trial go terribly wrong I turned to Angela in high hopes she would be able to give me the look I wanted for my wedding day. Angela exceeded my expectations in every way and went far beyond her expected duties that day. From our first meeting I felt comfortable with her and I just knew she would be amazing! On the day of the wedding she showed up on time smiling with excitement! Her bubbly personality makes you feel more at ease. Not only did she do my makeup but she did 5 bridesmaids, 2 mothers and a grandmother. My grandmother originally decided she didn’t want makeup, but after seeing how beautiful everyone looked she decided she also wanted it done. Angela was super flexible and had no problem staying longer to do another person. Everyone’s makeup looked gorgeous and absolutely flawless. I recommend using the airbrush the day of it stayed on throughout the entire wedding and looked great in pictures. Another plus- she comes to you for the trial and to wherever you are getting ready the day of. THANK YOU ANGELA!! I wouldn’t recommend anyone else! You can’t go wrong!

Suze is absolutely amazing! I have been driving past her studio for probably a year, and when I got engaged I figured I would give her a call. She did my makeup for my engagement photos and the wedding, both of which were amazing. She also did the makeup for my mom, mother-in-law and bridal party. She did mine onsite at Elkridge, and I couldn't be any more pleased. The best part about Suze is she will use your own makeup, and being a Bobbi Brown girl, I was so happy with that. Suze is very responsive, and will help you create your vision!

My wife and I before our wedding had frequented Bombshell Salon since they do such a great job. While I could go to a barber for my preferred short haircut style, I do like to let my hair grow out a little bit and evolve. So I require someone to really pay attention to detail and cut it well so that it can grow out equally in a nice fashion, unlike most cheap barbers who cut your hair in a way that looks good for about a month before it starts to grow out unevenly or show other flaws. My wife and I both see the same stylist, Tina, who is amazing at what she does. She's friendly and always in an upbeat mood. Well Tina and company outdid herself for my the bridal party of our wedding. My wife looked gorgeous and so did everyone else the staff tended to (her sisters, the mothers, my sister, the flower girls, etc.). Even though my wife has moved in with me, which is farther from the salon, we will continue to make the trek to see Tina because the value of a good Salon is just too much to pass up. They do everything, and my wife has never left the store unhappy.
