I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Swept!!! I used them for my July wedding for makeup - me, my mom, MIL, and my bridesmaids! Wendie made us all feel so comfortable and beautiful! She is very talented and brought my dream wedding vision to life! And on top of that, she is down-to-earth and a joy to be around. Swept LLC was amazing for my wedding day makeup! I almost went with another company, but after a lengthy and arduous process trying get my questions answered, and waiting days between replies, I decided I needed to keep looking. Although there was only two weeks until my wedding, Swept was able to quickly get myself and 3 attendants booked for wedding morning airbrush makeup AND squeeze a bridal trial in the week before.

Sara was our make up artist and she was absolutely incredible. She gave me exactly what I was looking for from my inspiration photos and even had some great tips for how to make the look even better. By my wedding day I was looking even better than I could have imagined and the look stayed all day.

I was a bit worried about getting airbrush makeup because I have dry, sensitive, allergy prone skin, but the airbrush did not dry out or bring attention to my dry skin AND it lasted all night. I didn't even have any clogged pores after I removed the makeup, which I usually do.

Sara was great working in a tight room and tight timeline. She was so gentle, patient, and complementary with each of us, ensuring we felt our best and were entirely happy before we walked out for the event. For my Valentine's Day 2026 wedding, I was blessed to have Swept founder Jamie for hair and her sister Wendie for makeup. I am so, so lucky to have found them online, because they were the perfect team for me (bride) and my five bridesmates. I live in NYC, so Baltimore was a destination wedding for me and my now husband—because of that, we ended up doing our hair and makeup trial the day before, and it was MEANT TO BE. I knew exactly how I would look, they knew how my skin and hair would be (because it was all that weekend! My skin would change over a month, but not so much overnight), and we got to spend the whole wedding weekend hanging out together, which was a big win for me because they are so fun!!

I originally had a friend doing my makeup and just Jamie doing my hair; long story short, about a week before the wedding, my friend was no longer able to do it. But Jamie and Wendie saved the day, accommodating me and fitting me into our preplanned schedule of 10 - 3, even though it was the last minute, and Wendie was even able to come in for a trial on the day before despite it being such short notice. And they did not make me feel bad! They said they were so happy to do it. My bridal crew was pretty mixed—we had nb folx, older women, ladies with a little bit of rosacea, and what I would call a colorful tapestry of individual styles. Wendie and Jamie made them all feel beautiful, special, and well-taken care of, taking the time to ensure that everyone was happy with their look, and not hesitating to make any last-minute adjustments as needed. And same with me! After my trial, Jamie gave me what I think is called a bow bun so that my hair would be unique for the rehearsal dinner and remain a surprise for the wedding; Wendie calmed me down after I thought I saw a new whitehead pop up after she'd done my makeup (it was just dry skin) and also fixed my under-eye makeup after it creased a little (I was smiling a lot). Also she gave me a to-go lip so that I could eat (I didn't want to eat lunch beforehand but my bridal party made me).

I have never felt or looked more beautiful in my entire life than I did this weekend. I did not worry about smiling the correct way in photos, I did not worry about my double chin, because I knew I looked f*cking GOOD and so could relax a little more because they got me.

I also need to dedicate a specific space for my mom—who had not gotten her makeup done professionally maybe ever, who has done her makeup the same way for more than 50 years, and who wore a little bit of makeup to her appointment the way one might clean their house before a professional cleaning service comes over. She was STUNNING. And Wendie was a total pro and emotional support artist in addition to doing her makeup. My mom is in love with the eyebrows Wendie gave her and is seriously considering getting Wendie's design tattooed on. This was something super important to me from the beginning—I wanted my mom to feel as beautiful as she looks to everyone around her. And I think this was a success.

Also it has been five days and I haven't washed my hair yet because I don't want to let go of Jamie's artistry. Soon it will be time. But the curls are still curling!!!

We had an amazing experience with Jamie, Wendie, and the team for our October 12, 2025 wedding! They brought 2 other artists with them so they were very efficient with their work. No one was waiting around long to have their hair or make up done. All the artists were very friendly and kept things entertaining on what could have been a stressful day and it was great! They even finished early and had extra time for touchups before they left. Highly recommend this team of hair and makeup artists!!

Kristin and Sara were absolutely amazing. Seriously the sweetest, and most talented women and they did an incredible job and didn’t leave until everyone was satisfied. Simply a wonderful team to work with. The owner Jamie was an absolute sweetheart and worked with me through several changes we had with our timeline and she was so kind and responsive. Prices are very reasonable and trust me, you get what you pay for! I felt like a literal angel and had so many compliments on my hair, as well as all of my bridesmaids. When they finished, I looked in the mirror and cried—I never knew I could feel so beautiful. It wasn’t just about hair and makeup—it was about confidence, comfort, and care on one of the biggest days of my life. Swept wasn’t just a vendor; they became friends throughout this journey. My entire bridal party looked amazing, and I felt like the very best version of myself.
