Kristen is AMAZING!! I had a vision for an octagon cake and I knew that might not be easy or possible. Kristen took the time to figure out just exactly how to make my dream come true. The cake looked amazing plus her cakes taste FANTASTIC!! Brides do yourself a favor and hire Kristen to make your wedding cake!!

From the ease of use of the website, to my mouth dropping when i finally saw our cake- Cakes5thAvenue made my wedding cake-buying experience the best vendor related experience of my entire wedding! We naturally had "shopped around" for cake vendors, and as soon as we had our meeting with Cakes5thAvenue, both my husband and I were amazed and eager to have her create our vision for us- We rushed right home to put a deposit on our date with her! I couldn't have been happier with her excited attitude towards our design ideas, but then to see it come to life the day of the wedding was just something else altogether! I had imagined it would be great, but seeing JUST how beautiful and PERFECT the cake was to what I wanted it to be was incredible. I didnt want to cut it!! But let me tell you, I'm glad we did, because not only did it LOOK fantastic, it TASTED fantastic as well! I had so many people complimenting how great the cake was that day!! Thank you so much Cakes5thAvenue, you really were the best of my vendors that day and I cannot thank you enough for your professionalism and immense creativity in giving us more than we even expected on our wedding day! Kristen was so awesome! I could not have asked for any more from her or the beautiful cake she created for me! It was exactly what I wanted and more. Not only did it look amazing, it was also delicious!! Kristen was also super accomadating and was a pleasure to work with. :)

When we met with Kristen my daughter was out of state interviewing grad schools. I got my daughter via cell phone and put her in the middle of the table and she was able to talk with Kristen about her *wants*. We also concocted a grooms cake! Kristen was so creative and accomodating and I recommend her highly to anyone looking for a classy cake and professional delivery. Thanks Kristen !

After the private cake tasting with Kristen (who was very accomodating to my crazy schedule), I knew I would be pleased with the final outcome of our wedding cake. But in fact, I was amazed at how good the cake tasted and that it exceeded our expectations! I didn't eat my meal the night of our wedding but I ate all of my cake! Guests are still raving about how good the cake was! We will be using Cakes 5th Avenue for all of our cakes now.

She was amazing, very willing to work with any idea I had. The cake was absolutly amazing and we got so many compliments on how well the cake looked as well as tasted. I would recommend her to anyone.

Kristen is the best cake designer that my husband and I have met to date. She was attentive to our needs and captured exactly what we were looking for in a wedding cake. Her pricing was very reasonable and she was willing to meet us in a quiet setting and provided samples of her product. The red velvet is to die for. Kristen cares about her clients and remebers who you are and what you like even if it is a year later.

We chose Cakes 5th Avenue because Kristen's cakes tasted homemade (like the ones my mother made for our birthday's growing up) and looked gorgeous. My husband and I both weren't icing fans until we tried Kristen's --- delicious! She was extremely helpful and was able to make the perfect cake with a fresh fruit filling that was within our budget. We also really wanted to support small family businesses and we were so happy we found Cakes 5th Avenue! We look forward to our 1 year anniversary cake that they're making us (who has room in their freezer/wants to keep a cake for a year?)

To our delight, Kristen created a cake for us that went beyond our expectations in taste and appearance. We enjoyed meeting her and coming up with a cake design together, she's friendly and professional and by the end of the meeting we knew we wanted her to do our cake. No need for us to look any further. We evencancelled the tastings with other bakers after we sampled the cupcakes she provided! We highly recommend Kristen's company (and we're crazy about the lemon cake with strawberry filling!).

Kristen was EXCELLENT!!!! Her prices were very comparable to many other places. She offered so much help- and as a bride you always want help, but you want to be able to trust the help that you are receiving, and she is GREAT! She was able to accommodate all my needs. I placed an order for a smaller cake (30 slices approx.) and wanted a simple styled cake, which she was happy to do. She was also able to do complicated orders. I had a friend make my cake topper and she was able to work with it easily and even met me to pick up the topper at which time she brought me cupcakes just because! She offers a complementary anniversary cake a year later as well so you don't have to save your top tier for a year (which you will want to eat it right away anyways since it is so delicious!).

I actually had Kristin do a Groom's Cake for me as a friend of mine did the wedding cake. I have to say it came out fantastic. My husband loves to fish so I searched for images of fishing cakes and found one I really loved. I sent the picture to Kristin and asked her if she could make it. Kristin even asked for photos of us to make the bride and groom couple in the canoe look like us, and really nailed it. I had spice cake with chocolate frosting and it was delicious. I highly recommend Kristin for any cake as she is very talented.
