About Us

Couture with a conscience, celebrating with the planet.

What does this mean? After 15 years in the fashion industry working with companies big and small, I realized that its business practices weren't always kind to its people or its planet. After planning my own wedding and those of my friends, I also realized how difficult and excessive weddings could be.

I decided to search for a way to merge my passions for couture and event design with my goal of working to better the world and planet.

When I can, I use natural or earth-friendly fabrics. I hire skilled artisans that earn a decent living for their talents and can provide for their families. I source re-purposed materials or natural beads like plant-based tagua, or vintage jewelry as embellishments. Wearing white or ivory? That reduces the need for harmful dyes...

I create decor or invitations with post-consumer papers, or plantable paper for later use.

I offer kits, design elements and advice if you want to some DIY elements. You can create luxury and personalization for your event in many different (and often inexpensive) ways that are also less harmful to the planet.

After many requests, I also offer bridal fashion illustration portraits. Clients liked my sketches so much that families ended up commissioning me to create a keepsake illustration for a very special, custom memento of their gown.
