I was recommended to use Alteration Specialist by a friend to use for my July 2022 wedding. I was assigned specialist, Maryse. Maryse was so lovely and has an incredible eye for perfection. Maryse did such detailed work on my dress and truly made me feel beautiful.

After buying a Berta bridal gown at a sample sale, I needed many intricate alterations.
Because it was a sample dress, Maryse took the dress in, fixed a few structural issues, added beading that was missing, shortened the train and added a bustle. I’m addition to all of these details, there was nude mesh that was ripped, Maryse added the appliqués from the bottom of the train (that was shortened) and added them to the damaged nude mesh-

Throughout several appointments, Maryse was meticulous, kind, careful, understanding, and her work was absolutely incredible . She completely revised my dress all while adding more details to the top and back of my dress. She was patient, listened to what I wanted, gave her professional touch and never rushed the process, but focused on getting it right. My dress turned out perfect, and it was all because of her. If you are out there looking for a seamstress, do not waste your time at other places and visit Maryse at this location. I cannot recommend her enough!!

Humberto at Alts Williamsburg did an incredible job tailoring my wedding dress! He helped me to feel my most confident in my dress and did amazing work in a short amount of time. Alts is great because they have many locations throughout the city and transparent alterations pricing. Highly recommend!

Alts has my heart. I worked with Humberto on alterations for my intricate Reem Acra wedding dress and he listened to all my asks, offered expert advice, and did an impeccable job. I have just picked up my finished dress and I am for the first time getting emotional for the big day.
