Do you offer private tastings or open house tastings?
At this point, we offer private tastings by appointment. We also offer "closed door" tastings on Tuesdays.
 
What are your tasting hours?
It varies, but normally 10-4 Wednesday through Sunday, 12:30 to 8 pm on Tuesdays. We meet by appointment!
 
Describe how you price, such as by slice or by tier, for your cakes?
Cakes are priced by the serving, with other options priced per serving or per cake.
 
Does the price include the top tier of the cake?
Customers who buy 3 tiered cakes or larger will receive a free 6" tier on their first anniversary. See us for details!
 
Do you offer custom cakes, or do you work with pre-designed styles?
With a wedding cake, every cake is customized to fit your wedding, your style, your theme, or even your venue!
 
On average, how far in advance of the event do you prepare the cake?
Cakes are decorated the same day or day before your wedding. No cakes are frozen after decoration.
 
Will you work with the client's florist to garnish the cake?
Yes. We prefer the florist do all the floral work on the cake, unless all we have to do is set a topper.
 
What (if any) cake accessories, such as a cake stand or cake cutter, do you rent out?
At this point, we recommend fine rental companies which can provide any accessories you need.
 
Do you offer delivery? If yes, how much is your average delivery fee?
Yes. Generally it's $2.50 per mile one way, with a minimum of $35.

regarding the health department, in Maryland it’s the counties which license food facilities, and we are a fully licensed Howard County food service facility.

What is your deposit?
$75 holds your date, with the remainder due 2 weeks prior to the wedding.  If the cake is booked within 30 days of the wedding, then we require a 50% deposit.

Payments can be made in person, via mail or over the phone.
