Kass was wonderful to work with for our wedding. We were interested in cupcakes, so when we did our tasting, she gave each of us 3 delicious cupcakes to take home and try. We spend the time with her discussing the theme and vision. The cupcakes were absolutely delicious- honestly some of the best we have had. And, she was reasonably priced. We were very happy with our cupcakes.

I could not have asked from anything more from Kass, she was amazing to work with. She is highly organized and excellent at communicating. She worked with us to design a beautiful cake that was within our budget. The cake was stunning and tasted amazing (lemon raspberry!). Kass uses real butter in her buttercream, you can taste the difference! In addition, Kass does "take home cake tastings" so my finance, who could not take a day off work to attend the consultation, could still taste the cake flavors. I highly recommend For Goodness Cakes!

Kathryn (Kass) Benedick of For Goodness Cakes exceeded my expectations for our cupcake tower, but most of all the groom's cake. When I met Kass for our tasting her energy, passion and creativty was apparent in our conversation. I gave Kass the idea that I had to suprise my groom with a Denim cake, because he is a denim designer and she ran with it. I gave her pictures of his denim and she got the cake down to the stiching to match his actual pair of denim. Some guests at our wedding mentioned that they thought it was an actual pair of denim on the table and had to take a second look. The guests commented on how amazing our cupcake tower looked, but most of all how great the cupcakes tasted. My husband and I agree that the work and detail she put into our cupcake tower and his denim cake was worth way more than the price she charged, as her prices are very resonable for the quality of work. She is awesome! We will be using her for events from here on out! Trust me when I say you won't be disappointed.

Kathryn Benedick did such a fabulous job with our wedding cake. Ms. Benedick was friendly and very easy to work with.

The cake was beautiful and exactly what we wanted. We had asked for a lace detail design on two of the tiers and what she created was perfect. Our guests are still commenting on how tasty all of the different flavors were.

Ms. Benedick also did cupcakes for my bridal shower and those were just as big of a hit!

We will certainly be coming back to For Goodness Cakes for future treats!

Hands down the easiest part of our wedding!
I gasped when I saw our wedding cake! Kass is amazing and so creative! My cake was out-of-this-world beautiful and delicious. We got so many compliments, and many people went back for a second slice! We honestly had no left over cake. The price was very reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend you!

Kass met with us on time, took notes, and made the meeting fun. She designed the cake to our very exacting specifications. Her expertise as an artist and a graphic designer gave her an edge over the competition. The cake was elegant and delicious. I didn't even see her deliver it since I was very busy, but like magic it was there on time. The fondant tasted a bit like marshmallow. I don't know how she does it.

Kass was amazing to work with. All we wanted was grooms cake perfection and she delivered this request to a T! We asked her a Patriot football helmet on turf and it was amazing. The guests were amazed! Her cake is delicious, her work is incredible and her prices are beyond fair. Not only was Kass one of three vendors all over the Maryland/DC area that could take on this cake, but she made my vision come true and didn't over charge. Kass - thank you. Eric and I appreciate all of your hard work.

Kass with For Goodness Cakes was wonderful to work with. I have to start this review by saying that the cake was not a top priority for me or my groom. Therefore, we reached out to Kass pretty late in the wedding planning process, and despite this she was completely friendly and willing to work with us. Upon meeting with Kass we realized that she is very relaxed and kind. We were up front with her in saying that we wanted our cake to be simple and small and she had no qualms about it. She quickly understood the vision that we had for the cake, and provided us with more than enough cake samples to try. Throughout the next few weeks she was extremely quick in responding to emails whenever we had questions or requested changes to the design. The final product was exactly what we asked for. It was beautiful and it tasted great! We had a great experience with her and would recommend her to anyone!
