My mom has been using Cakes and Confections forever, so they were the obvious choice for my wedding cake. My husband and I wanted cupcakes in addition to a small cake for cutting. It was so affordable! We did a bunch of different cupcake flavors which were beautifully decorated so guests could tell the flavors. Julianne even created a flavor based on a special request we made. I absolutely loved our experience working with Cakes and Confections!

We initially came to Caroline's thinking we were going to order their famous Caramel Cake as our fall wedding cake. We made a tasting appointment to test a few variations on fall flavors and caramel, plus a vanilla cake with raspberry filling just to provide some variety for the tasting. Much to our surprise we were completely sold on the vanilla the moment we tasted it. As for prices, in shopping around wedding cakes in general are not cheap. SO, you want to make sure the cake you pick is beautiful AND delicious. Ours was both. I got more than a few laughs at our reception when I refused to only eat the one bite when we cut the cake...

My husband and I chose to do cupcakes for our wedding on September 12th and both of us and our guests loved it! The cupcakes were not only absolutely delicious, they were so beautiful! Jen at Jo Jo's and I worked together to pick out the perfect colors, flavors, and decorative touches to make them fit in with the theme of the wedding. She had some great ideas and the onsite display was better than what I had imagined. JoRhea, the owner, reached out and had some great ideas and included pictures, they all were very helpful. I would definitely recommend using Jo Jo's!

Sarah was excellent in being the creative genius behind my wedding cake, cupcakes, and guest favors! We wanted to support local, and Oh So Sweets was exactly the business for us. I may have changed my mind about 36 times, and Sarah was so flexible and creative in helping me figure out what flavor, shape, and set up of my wedding sweets. I hadn't even considered cake flavors beyond the realm of chocolate or vanilla, and Sarah just blew our minds with a lemon-blueberry delight! In keeping with our very general theme of St. Louis, Sarah made a local cake, ooey gooey butter cake as guest favors, and they were such a huge hit! Sarah was so patient with me, and was able to take my wild ever-changing ideas, and turn them to the dream cake I wanted! Highly recommend Oh So Sweets, it'll be the most tasty right decision ever! Meaghan from D&J bakery is so nice and a great baker! She made cake, cupcakes, and chocolate covered strawberries for my wedding. Everything was gone by the end of the night. Not only was it delicious but Meaghan was very helpful throughout the whole process of figuring out how much to get, what to get, how to set it up. On the day of, she set up the cake and laid out the cupcakes and strawberries. She also even helped with details we needed, like putting the cupcake toppers on and the cake flowers. Without her and her staffs help I don't think we would've been able to set everything up for the dessert table.

We used Blue Crab Cupcakes for our wedding on May 17, 2025, and we are so happy we did! From the very beginning, they made the process easy and enjoyable. We stopped by their storefront to pick up tasting boxes, which were such a fun way to try different cake and icing combinations at home and decide on our favorites. We ended up choosing mini cupcakes for our reception, and the team was incredibly helpful in guiding us on how many to order for our guest count and how many flavors to include. We also worked with them on a small cutting cake, and they provided a quote based on our design inspiration and the size we needed. On our wedding day, they set up a beautiful cupcake display and incorporated our custom cake topper perfectly. The setup looked amazing, but the real standout was the taste. The cupcakes were SO delicious, and our guests couldn’t stop raving about them. The mini size was such a hit and everyone loved being able to try multiple flavors easily. We were thrilled with both the presentation and the flavor of both our mini cupcakes and our cutting cake. If you're looking for a vendor who delivers both beauty and taste, we definitely recommend Blue Crab Cupcakes!
