Red Letter Events started over some really good Thai food on a Valentine’s date several years ago. We were talking about our dreams and the bright future we hoped for – about what we love to do and what we wish we didn’t have to do – about what we’re really good at. That’s where it happened – right there – wrestling over our future, that’s where Red Letter Events was born.

We found our own Harmony on the e-dating scene in 2004. We saw each other for the first time on the steps of the Seattle Aquarium and from there; a wonderful, exciting, complicated, messy and rewarding marriage has followed. Our marriage, as well as the skills we’ve acquired in our career and volunteer lives, make for a very effective wedding and event planning team.

Working with your spouse isn’t always easy – sometimes you find yourself charging off in two different directions and when you do come together, you’re stepping on each other’s toes. But those moments are occasional – most of the time, we do what we’re best at and have a ton of fun doing it.
