For the amount of guests we were inviting, there were a handful of places availlable. Luckily, the radisson riverside was one of our choices. I have been comparing it to the saying, as soon as you put on "the dress" you will know its "the dress". This is how I felt about the radisson. My face lit up immediately when walking in the grand ballroom! First of all, we had a large amount of guests that LOVE to dance! So an oversized dance floor was a #1 priority!! After that we were concerned with the food, the service, the coordinators, etc. I can not express how perfect everything was the day of our wedding. The food was AMAZING and I loved the fact that you are able to come in and have the chef prepare your chosen dishes. Food is a huge part of your reception so it is important to make sure its delicious. Our service the day of was remarkable. Food came out promptly, which I was concerned about. With that many guests (255) you dont want half of your tables eating and the other half waiting around for food. This was not the case here, everyone ate at the exact same time, which was a pleasant surprise. Now, both Amandas were absolutely FANTASTIC! I went through a couple coordinators before Amanda Weaver, and I can honestly tell you that I wouldnt have asked for anyone else. Any request I made, she granted. Any question I had, she answered. Unfortunately the wrong cake was delivered to us and I was devastated. It was plain white and without thinking twice Amanda ran over grabbed a bunch of flowers from my bridesmaids bouquets and decorated the cake to make it look amazing. Thats just one of the many things she did to make this the most amazing day of our lives. For this, we are eternally grateful.
