Thank you so much to RMSC for the wedding of our dreams! And shout out to Danielle for keeping a tight ship sailing on! Many of our guests have reached out to let us know it was the best wedding they've ever been to and we are honored! Ceremony in the planetarium was a dream come true and cocktail hour/reception in the museum was icing on the cake.

We had a small wedding of 35 persons .The grounds and the interior of this Federal style Home were gorgeous. The staff was wonderful and very professional. It was a beautiful wedding! It was Historically charming venue!

We had our wedding reception at the gardens last October and it was a fantastic experience! In terms of the event space itself, the botanical gardens is beautiful, and our guests loved being able to see the entire space at night. We appreciated that tables and chairs were provided by the gardens, and we were glad to learn that we could provide our playlists to the event team and have them played over the speakers rather than have to bring our own sound set up. There are outdoor spaces outside of the gardens that are great for outdoor photos as well. The gardens’ event coordinators (Sally and Asher) were extremely responsive and a pleasure to work with both leading up to, and during the event. They were very accommodating, communicated with us to ensure we were on the same page about what we were going for with our event, and handled set-up for the decorations we provided, the tables, etc. Honestly, they made things really easy for us! The cost was also very reasonable. Some mostly minor things to consider that weren’t an issue for us, but might matter more to others: Lighting: while the dining areas were well lit with overhead lighting and string lights, some areas of the gardens are fairly dark at night. Temperature: we were very comfortable in October inside, but the gardens is a greenhouse essentially and can get warm (we were told typically about 10 degrees warmer than outside air), so in warmer months this may be something to consider. Time: we were allotted four hours for our reception-only event. For us this was fine, though it went quickly, but something to consider for those hoping for a longer event. Lastly, the gardens only allows a limited set of vendors for catering. Initially, we were kind of worried by this limitation, but it actually became clear that the vendors’ familiarity with the space and the event team helped the catering experience go very smoothly as everyone knew what to do/expect, and we also had a wonderful experience with the catering (we went with Buffalo Catering Co., which we also recommend!) Our experience was fantastic, everything was beautiful and went smoothly—we highly recommend the gardens!

Our day was flawless from beginning to end and we cannot thank the staff and Genesee Country Village Museum enough, for helping make our day that much more special. I had my wedding at GVCM on 6/8/19. Our ceremony was in the yard of the Brooks Grove Church, and we were given the rain option of having the ceremony inside the church. Our guests were given directions at the entrance for back to the church and the staff provided transportation to guests who were unable to make the walk, which put us at ease! The wedding coordinator was at our beck and call for whatever myself, wedding party/ family, or guests needed. She helped with the flow of the ceremony and assisted in the layout and organization of the reception. Our ceremony was held in the Carriage Barn; the Carriage Barn gives you the rustic feel and the carriages and string lights hung above makes it all the more romantic.

ArtisanWORKS was over-the-top amazing. From their communication leading up to the wedding to everything, and I mean literally everything, the day of. The space is gorgeous of course but the people were so nice and attentive, they made everything!

Having our reception at the Buffalo Museum of Science made the night what it was. It was amazing to have our dance floor between dinosaur skeletons and the buffet stations in the various side rooms. The interesting exhibits were all open and kept our guests entertained and happy all night long. The staff was amazingly helpful and willing to work with my every-changing ideas. They were willing to meet with me and the other verdors several times to get the plans in place and all the details perfect. The large elevator and kitchen storage space was perfect for the rentals. I couldn't imagine a better venue.

This venue is to die for. We had our ceremony at the north hall location, and our reception down the road at the porter hall location. Though you had to bring in all outside rentals- this stunning backdrop made our budget wedding look like a million dollar wedding. Beautiful balcony for your photographer to get overhead shots, the ability to bring your own alcohol and catering. It was unreal. Chris was our contact and he was absolutely amazing to work for- so accommodating during covid, and you have the ability to set up the location days before and break it down later too. A beautiful backdrop for any wedding.

The Memorial Art Gallery (MAG) was a beautiful venue to have our wedding ceremony and reception. The grounds were perfect for taking pictures and our pictures were phenomenal because of it. Our ceremony was outdoors on the steps to the west end of the building and the setup was better than we could have ever imagined. The reception was inside in the M&T Ballroom which is a gorgeous space with dark wood and high ceilings. It was exactly what we were looking for and it provided an ideal space to have a huge dance floor. As soon as you enter the MAG, you walk into a marvelous atria that wowed us and all of our guests. Anthony, our wedding coordinator, and his team did a great job in helping us through the entire process. We really appreciated their efforts to make our day special. We are so happy with the MAG and highly recommend it for a wedding!

The Left Bank caught our attention very quickly when looking for wedding venues in the finger lakes. It has a mixture of old world charm and a clean modern layout in an urban setting. We loved that it was steps away from other restaurants and bars, and only a couple blocks from multiple hotels and Seneca Lake. The size was perfect for our wedding of 60 guests, intimate but not cramped. A very unique aspect of this space allows you to utilize some of the cobblestone street in front of the venue like some of the neighboring restaurants. We took advantage of this and it made our night. We also would like to note that Sophie was fantastic to work with, ever helpful with planning and discussing the fine details and coordinating the day of. She truly helped to make our day feel effortless and so special for not only us but our guests as well.
