About The Chalet of Canandaigua:

A new member to Wedding Wire, The Chalet of Canandaigua is a luxury boutique log cabin bed and breakfast located in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of upstate NY known for pampering its guests with that personal touch and attention to detail. Our private location provides a peaceful retreat complete with a majestic pond and walking trails. It is the perfect place for romantic getaways and special events like weddings, rehearsal dinners and bridal showers where rustic mingles with contemporary elegance. The perfect place for your special day, The Chalet provides an exclusive venue to share with family and friends for your celebration. Customized to fit your needs and , we will work with you to plan a worry-free day that will create memories for a life time!

Facilities and Capacity:

The Chalet offers a unique intimate setting for your exclusive event. This 30-acre estate is a private setting in a wooded area which includes a grand pond surrounded by large willow trees. This is a perfect place for your memorable photos as well as your cherished ceremony. Larger weddings and receptions with up to 300 people can be accommodated using your choice of luxury tent in this serene setting next to a full acre pond with an idyllic island surrounded by willow trees.

Set up on a hill top, more intimate events can be held outside the Chalet in a gable frame tent to accommodate up to 125 guests from May - October. There is a large lawn area for games, cocktail hour and firepit for those cool evenings.

For an even more intimate gathering that does not require a tent, our large covered porch (weather permitting) will accommodate up to 35 guests and our two large gathering spaces indoors can be used for dinner banquets and dancing.

Inside the Chalet our spacious suites and large gathering spaces offer a place for you and your bridal party to prepare for your special day.

Ceremonies and/or receptions are also held down at the grand pond. Some fees/rental costs may apply.

Accommodations:

Events booked at the Chalet require reserving our 3 luxury suites for use by the wedding couple, family and/or friends for a 1 night stay on any day. Full weekend events require a 2-night stay. Holiday weekends require a 2 night stay. Up to 8 guests are treated to a 3 course farm to table breakfast by our Executive Chef, who will accommodate for dietary restrictions and needs. The breakfast is included in the price of accommodations. Additional breakfasts can be added on. For your other guests, we are happy to provide a list of accommodations.

Your special day begins as you check into the Chalet. Wedding activities generally begin between 4-5pm and Music ends by 10pm.
