About The Chalet of Canandaigua:
A new member to Wedding Wire, The Chalet of Canandaigua is a luxury boutique log cabin bed and breakfast located in the beautiful Finger Lakes Region of upstate NY. Our private location provides a peaceful retreat complete with a majestic pond and walking trails. It is the perfect place for romantic getaways and special events where rustic mingles with contemporary elegance. The perfect place for your special day, providing an exclusive venue to share with family and friends for your celebration. Customized to fit your needs we will work with you to plan a worry-free day that will create memories for a life time!
Facilities and Capacity:
The Chalet offers a unique intimate setting for your exclusive event. This 30-acre estate is a private setting in a wooded area which includes a grand pond surrounded by large willow trees. A perfect place for your memorable photos as well as your cherished ceremony.
Set up on a hill top events are held outside the Chalet in a gable frame tent with clear sides and clear center top to accommodate up to 50 guests from May - October. The tent includes bistro lights, tables, 50 white padded chairs, banquet tables, linens, glassware, coffee cups, china, flatware and dance floor. There is a large lawn area for games, cocktail hour and firepit for those cool evenings.
For a more intimate gathering our large covered porch (weather permitting) will accommodate up to 15 guests
Inside the Chalet our spacious suite offers a place for you and your bridal party to prepare for your special day.
Ceremonies may be held on the property. Generally, outside the Chalet or down at the grand pond. Some fees/rental costs may apply.
Event insurance is required.

Accommodations:
Events booked at the Chalet require reserving our 3 luxury suites for use by the wedding couple, family and/or friends for a 1 night stay on any day. Full weekend events require a 2-night stay. Holiday weekends require a 2 night stay. This is a separate charge from the venue costs as many family/friends absorb this cost independently. If they do not, then the cost will fall to the wedding couple. For your other guests, there is a list of accommodations on the preferred vendor page.
Your special day begins as you check into the Chalet by 2pm. Tent access for set/up & decor is available by 10am the day of your event) Check out is 10am the next morning. Wedding activities generally begin between 4-5pm and conclude by 11pm. Music ends by 10pm. During this time The Chalet is available to you for intimate family gatherings, rehearsals, ceremonies, use of our ready room & photos.
Catering:
The Chalet partners with preferred vendors found on our preferred vendor page. These are not exclusive and the Chalet will be open to discuss your personal choices. The only exception is bar services. All alcohol must be serviced by a licensed insured vendor. Both catering and bar services require proof of license and insurance.
