The Hotel at the Lafayette located in Downtown Buffalo has a total of 4 event spaces to book weddings/ceremonies, cocktail parties, rehearsal dinners, large showers & more. Tappo Venues has acquired all banquet spaces within the Hotel @ the Lafayette including first floor ballrooms and second floor event spaces.

• The first floor Marquis De Lafayette Ballrooms @ the Lafayette Hotel are uniquely featured bringing you back to a timeless and luxurious era. The Marquis Ballroom boasts a theatrical stage, large crystal chandeliers, gleaming hardwood floors and an adjectent room for cocktail hour, accomodating up to 280. Our AAA Room is adjacent to the Marquis Ballroom and can accommodate cocktail hour for larger weddings. Our Crystal Ballroom is adorned with crystal chandeliers, intricate gold beams, floor to ceiling windows, marble floors and a raised seating area around the perimeter. The elegant Crystal Room easily accomodates up to 150 sit down or an ideal space for large ceremonies.

• Our second floor consists of two additional spaces renovated to boast an industrial glam ambience with exposed brick, contemporary chandeliers, and built in skylights. The Courtyard Room, up to 180 sit down, is also a great space for your ceremony, cocktail hour or rehearsal dinners. The Greenhouse Room, up to 225 sit down, is perfect for receptions, showers, large rehearsal dinners, and more. These second floor rooms are equipped with private access to our outdoor courtyard terrace, ideal for cocktail hour or ceremonies.

As you prepare for your wedding at the Marquis De Lafayette Ballrooms @ the Lafayette Hotel, you will receive the assistance of our experienced wedding coordinators. They will take care of your wedding details and ensure you have everything you need the day of your event. We will outfit you with complimentary chiavari chairs, linens, glassware, china, and flatware. Couples are welcome to bring in outside vendors or we will help you with our list of preferred vendors and wedding planners we love to work with. Valet parking is an option through an outside vendor. The building is wheelchair accessible.
