About Us
Pearls Events, founded in 2007 by Aletha VanderMaas, is an event planning boutique based out of Michigan with offices in Grand Rapids & Traverse City. We serve clients planning Michigan celebrations of all kinds - weddings, anniversary parties, birthday celebrations, wedding showers, etc.

We plan, design and coordinate events with our dedicated team of two planners, two coordinators and two assistants. Read more about  our team on our website.

How do I even begin to thank Aletha at Pearl Events? We had the most amazing wedding day and I already want to do it again! Aletha helped me to prepare our timeline for the big day and assisted in making sure all my vendors were set. She was always there to run ideas by and to answer any questions I had. The day would not have been as seamless without her helpful suggestions. The wedding was flawless and absolutely perfect! I don't know what I would have done without her!
