We worked with Debbie and her team from Beyond Eventful for our Wedding Weekend. From our Welcome Party at the Hotel Earl to our Sunday breakfast Brunch everything was perfect. I found Debbie to go above and beyond our expectations in every way. She was prompt and professional and always available to answer questions or guide us. Our parents loved her as much as we did and look forward to seeing her again when we are in Petoskey. Trust us when I say you can't find someone that knows or cares more for their couples than Debbie and Ford. Truly the best.

We hired Beyond Eventful to plan our destination wedding in Petoskey as we live in Boston. Our video meetings were productive and stress relieving as we selected our vendors. Debbie's insights and relationships with vendors brought together the perfect team to make our wedding perfect. She was attentive, funny and very organized. I soon realized we had hired the right person to help us with our dream Wedding. I must say she was worth every dollar and we highly recommend her to anyone wanting the perfect wedding. We still get compliments about how lovely everything was and how it was their favorite wedding. We agree.

With about 4 months left before our wedding, I decided that the thought of executing my wedding plans the day of was not something that I wanted to do. I wanted to be able to be (relatively) stress free and enjoy the day as much as I could. So I sought out a reasonably priced DAY OF wedding coordinator. I found Beyond Eventful and Debbie reached out to me immediately after sending an inquiry. What really drew her company to me was the price of her services; I had already planned out majority of the big things for the wedding (locked in all vendors by this point), it was the little details I had left. Her price was within my budget and really the most reasonable I found. But she was worth EVERY PENNY and more because of what she did for us. Because we were not local, we met virtually every month until the last month, in which we met a few times leading up to the wedding, no matter what though if I needed something she was very easily accessible on all forms of communication which gave me great peace of mind. She has been in the business for a long time, and it shows in her professionalism and her many resources both with vendors and with her own inventory of wedding items and tools which were all offered to me. If she had something, she would use it! (ex: battery operated tea lights/candles, photo booth set up, boxwood wall back drop, and various other little tablescape items). Our meetings were always very productive, collaborative, and informative; she really led me in the right direction with everything. She was always honest and so helpful. She helped me mitigate two big situations, adjusting our contract with our bartender, and finding a new florist two months before our wedding. And this is all being done BEFORE the wedding, the things she did the day before and during the wedding day were beyond everything I could've thought of. From figuring out little setbacks (missing ONE place card that I printed), to coordinating the whole ceremony, and being there on the rehearsal day; Debbie and her team were SO professional, very kind, and were there for everything that we needed. And then at the end she took care of handing out our vendor tip envelopes, wrapped up and packed away all of our wedding supplies, and left us with a beautiful and thoughtful gift waiting in our room after everything was done. Above all else, Debbie and her husband Ford felt like family by the end of this whole experience. So if you're looking for a wedding coordinating team in the northern Michigan area (we were in Traverse City, about 1 hr from where she is based) then contact her immediately! She and her Husband are absolutely amazing people.

Debbie and Ford were instrumental in my daughter’s wedding being a smashing success. Debbie paid attention and really listened and was able to make all of my daughter’s visions come to life! We could not have done it without beyond eventful! They are professional, organized and definitely go above and beyond. Debbie did an incredible job with our wedding, I couldn’t ask for anything more. She truly became a friend throughout the planning process through our weekly calls and she really made my vision come to life. She thought of every single detail and made me feel so at ease. Not to mention her amazing husband who put in hours of his time creating structures that brought to life my crazy ideas! She was always reachable at any hour to talk through anything I needed and always made me feel like I was her top priority. She went above and beyond to help me select the best vendors and set aside entire weekends (injured with a boot on her leg!!) to meet with multiple vendors since we live downstate.

She also helped with our welcome party putting together a whole beautiful charcuterie board for my guests that I didn’t have to worry about at all, took pictures of all my guests and stayed the entire time the night before the wedding to help with everything. Everyone the day of loved her, Debbie and her husband worked SO hard stayed late and kept track of everything so my family didn’t have to worry. Everyone appreciated her and she took all the stress off me so I could truly enjoy my special day. I’m going to miss her so much and would recommend her to any couple!

We cannot recommend Debbie at Beyond Eventful highly enough! Throughout the planning process, she was always available and made every step feel effortless for us. We initially didn’t expect that we would have a wedding planner but I cannot express how happy I am that we reached out to Debbie in the process. Once we connected with Debbie feeling overwhelmed with about 6 months left until the wedding day (but still many vendors to book and decisions to make), she knew exactly what vendors we should reach out to and was willing to help with every little detail. She had so many great ideas as we were figuring out exactly what we wanted and we are so happy we followed her lead. Debbie is truly happy to do as much as you need (and even made us custom napkins when the ones we planned to use were out of stock). She put together our vison perfectly – the décor we used for the wedding was better than we imagined and saved us so much stress!

On the wedding day, Debbie exceeded our expectations in every way. The decorations were stunning — every detail was thoughtfully arranged and the venue looked amazing. She coordinated the timeline and all the vendors seamlessly, kept everything running smoothly, and ensured we could enjoy our celebration without any stress. She even organized a shared album and took lots of pictures throughout the day so we could look back at all the memories the day after the wedding. We also need to give a shoutout to her husband Ford, who helped her coordinate everything on the wedding day!

Our guests are still raving about how beautiful the wedding was, how much fun everyone had, and what a perfect day it was. If you’re looking for someone who will go above and beyond to make your wedding unforgettable and make the process enjoyable, we cannot recommend Debbie enough! She is a joy to work with and our special day truly would have not been the same without her.

Debbie and Ford are beyond amazing! She pulled off a Mackinac island wedding even tho we live in Texas! She went all out for us, she listened to our vision and she created it just like we wanted it to be. She went above and beyond for us, and she is considered family now. For our anniversaries, we are going to pay her a visit because she became family after this whole process. She helped us plan a wedding in 6 months and made the impossible possible.

We planned our wedding with Debbie for 10 months. She saved us so much time and stress. We were very open to suggestions and following her lead with our Vendors and boy did they deliver. Our wedding was perfect from her details with the design to the timeline that allowed us to spend time with our guests and still do all the important things. It was a dream come true.
