From my first bite at our tasting to seeing the beautiful dessert spread at our reception, I was so impressed with Jessica's desserts! We decided not to get a cake and just have a dessert table with cookies, cupcakes, cake truffles, and macaroons. She has a ton of varieties and flavors to choose from!

Not only are her desserts delicious, she set up a gorgeous display with tiered platters and trays. They were a HUGE hit at our wedding and I regret not ordering more for leftovers!

When we were planning our wedding, we decided to keep the desserts very simple and under a very tight budget, especially since we were "splurging" on so many other parts of our day. Then, I found Jessica and all of that went out the window and I honestly couldn't have been happier. The dessert table was the "wow factor" at our reception, for sure. She created such an amazing masterpiece and the sweets tasted even better than they looked. I only spoke to Jessica a handful of times, but she immediately understood my style and absolutely nailed it. From chocolate covered coffee spoons to mini cupcakes and cookies, everything was perfect. Thank you, Jessica! You are so talented and we loved working with you!

Could not have been happier with our cake! We did a faux cake that turned out BEAUTIFUL. The guests (and my husband and I!) raved about the actual cake. We did 2 kinds of sheet cake. I'd highly recommend!

We are beyond thankful that we chose Simply Sweet to be our cake and sweets table display at our wedding! Jessica was THE NICEST person ever during our entire wedding process! She was so nice, warm, and professional during our first cake tasting. You can tell she is very passionate about what she does. She went ABOVE AND BEYOND for our sweets display and cake! She quite literally remembered details of our cake tasting that we didn't even order and added it as a special treat on our wedding day to surprise us! She is that giving and caring! We loved our experience with Jessica. During the tasting, she helped us pick out and create our dessert bar and design our wedding cake. It was sincerely the most DELICIOUS desserts I have ever had - we are so so happy we hired Jessica for our sweet treats! It was the icing on the cake of a perfect day.

If you are getting married in the Petoskey area, Simply Sweet is an easy choice. Jessica's desserts (cakes, cupcakes, cookies, macarons) are all great. Our guests were clamoring over the dessert bar choices we had, because they all wanted to try everything at least once! I usually prefer a chocolate or fruit flavored cake over vanilla, but the vanilla cake we got for our mini wedding cake (for the wedding party) was the best vanilla cake I have ever had, and I honestly will go get some the next time I am in town. Because she books up and gets busy with the wedding season, she (understandably) has some final scheduling/guest count/payment dates that you really need to abide by, but she makes those very clear. Her setup of our dessert bar was gorgeous, and because she has great working relationships with many venues in the area, we literally did not have to do any additional coordination after one time of mentioning to our venue coordinator that she was our dessert vendor.

Jessica did such an amazing job with our wedding dessert bar! The presentation was aboslutely gorgeous - almost too perfect to touch! We had so many compliments on the cupcakes, cookies, and cake truffles, especially. The red velvet was my favorite - so tasty! I had no doubt that our reception would be perfect and I felt so comfortable having Simply Sweet as one of our vendors helping to put on an unforgettable evening. Thank you to Jessica and her team - everything exceeded my expectations!

All of Jessica's desserts are absolutely amazing! We were a little turned off at first after hiring this vendor because she was hard to get a response from via email, did not cash our deposit check for over a month, and required $50 for a taste testing. However, after being locked in with our deposit we decided to just pay the money for the taste testing and enjoy the process. Even though it is a lot of money, you leave with A LOT of desserts from the taste testing! We only ate half so we had another half to take home to our family to try! I do not regret paying that money and trying the desserts. From there Jessica was extremely professional, pleasant, and much better at communicating (just needed some prodding with phone calls, better than email). In the end we had a line wrapping around our reception hall waiting for desserts and not a single cookie or cupcake leftover to take home. Compliments that they were the best desserts ever! Extremely pleased with the end product!
