Wedding Caterers in Grand Rapids

They catered our small weddings a few days ago and it was absolutely amazing! They not only did an perfect job for the food and wine pairings but also helped set up our dessert table afterwards.

We used Pigs Eatin' Ribs to cater our wedding welcome/rehearsal dinner at Depot Beach Pavilion. They brought the food truck to us and served up an absolutely delicious spread! People told us they liked the novelty of the food truck and we had numerous people tell us how much they enjoyed the food! The service was fast and friendly as well. Booking the vendor went smoothly. They clearly answered any questions we had in a timely manner (few days at the most). They were pretty laid back and easily accommodated our requests for vegetarian meals, etc. They have done this enough that nothing seems to phase them! When we did the tasting, even the vegetarian option (black bean tacos) was incredibly tasty! The die hard meat-eaters in the group even noted they enjoyed it! I had originally thought the name and type of food were a little too casual and plain for a wedding, but I'm so glad we looked into them further! The food is top notch and delicious! We will be making a pit stop there any time we are up that way! If you are in the area (regardless of whether you are looking for a caterer), do yourself a favor and stop by!!

We finally were able to celebrate our daughter and son-in-law’s Covid wedding with a post-Covid reception. It was a great opportunity for our extended family and friends to celebrate in person. We couldn’t have been more pleased. The reception was in a county park and the Picnic Style menu with on-site grilling and the chicken and pork chops were delicious and juicy; the vegetables freshly hand prepared; the corn bread a perfect accompaniment. Everything was great and we received many positive comments on the food…in fact I think the meat was the best I have had. We also had vegetarian guests and they appreciated the special entrees prepared for them. The detail for pre and post event coordination (menu decisions, counts, payments, etc.) helped keep us on track and left the day of the reception for us to enjoy. I would heartily recommend The Catering Company.

Distinctive Catering did not disappoint! Drinks came out quickly, pours seemed reasonable. Very accommodating group that did a great job with our specialty drinks (named after our cats). I would recommend them for anyone's wedding.

My spouse and I got married Oct 2024. We had Above and Beyond cater our reception and oh my lord the food. Everyone couldn't stop saying how great it was. Everything was awesome. You'd think getting buffet style pot roast it'd be dry, right? Absolutely not. Melted in your mouth tender. My biggest regret from the reception was not getting more food for myself with everything going on.

Did a great job catering funeral. Everyone was happy excited and did all they can to make it memorable. Would recommend to anyone

We had City BBQ cater our wedding and could not have been happier with the experience! From the very beginning, their team was a dream to work with—communicating early and often, answering all our questions, and making sure every detail was covered well in advance of the big day. The food itself was absolutely incredible. Our guests raved about it—many even told us it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had! Everything was fresh, flavorful, and served right on time. The team handled setup and service seamlessly, which made everything stress-free for us. If you’re considering City BBQ for your event, do it—you’ll be in great hands and your guests will thank you!

We used 2020 for our wedding and I am so glad we did. They came recommended from other family gatherings we had them do. The food was amazing, Terrin and Lainey were punctual and responded in a timely manner each time I had a question. They were upfront with costs and no hidden fees which I have found other caterers do. They also gave us the left overs which I have talked to other places and they don't "allow" you to take food home. The staff was amazing serving the meal and I liked how they had an option of servers or just a drop off and pick up if you are trying to save money. Thank you again!!

We are so thankful for Gators for catering our beautiful wedding. Everything was perfect. The food was delicious and hot! Service was spectacular. Communication was excellent. We are so thankful!! Semifreddo was a fantastic dessert choice for our daughter’s wedding. Our guests enjoyed the flavor choices along with a dairy free option. Our family and friends are still talking about how delicious it was. Added bonus, the dessert cart was a stylish addition to the reception. The owners of Semifreddo were easy to work with and quick to answer any questions. Planning your daughter’s wedding can feel overwhelming, they made the dessert part stress free. We would definitely work with them again.
