Wedding Music Bands in Grand Rapids

We had a blast at my husband’s 40th birthday party with Moonshot Band! They were so easy to work with, so responsive, and so much FUN! They played all sorts of genres and our requests too! Everyone had a blast dancing all night long! We would definitely book with them again!

Highly recommend Rich and Avalon the Band! Very professional, fun, organized and excellent music! Guests were blown away by the positive vibes, fantastic vocals and fun the band provided. It felt like family was hanging out with us all night- ceremony music was perfect, seedless and uplifting…. I can’t say enough about our experience…. I had no worries Wedding Day knowing they were handling all our music…. Thank you again Rich!

We hired the Brena band for my daughter’s wedding at Baypoint Inn and could not have been any more pleased with the music and professionalism they provided throughout the afternoon and evening, as a 50 year musician myself I was was amazed at the musical talents of all the band members, they were very accommodating to all and any requests and the wedding party and guests had the most wonderful evening, Brena comes highly recommend by me and they are sure to provide your party or reception with fantastic music and dancing, thank you Brena!!

The House Cats were absolutely amazing at our wedding! They’re truly the kind of band every couple hopes for — the dance floor was packed all night, right up until the lights came on. Rick was fantastic to work with and made sure everything was exactly as we expected. The band also arrived early to get fully set up, which made the entire evening run seamlessly. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We had the best time with Funkle Jesse at our wedding! They were so energetic and talented and flexible with us. Overall great to work with and GREAT to party with. We had SO many compliments from guests on how great they sounded! Not your average wedding band, instead they're a really good band that will also do a great job at your wedding.

We had an excellent experience. The online forms were easy to use and they played viby music during our cocktail hour on the patio. We were initially unsure about having a Hammond Organ, but it sounded great outside! We had a jazz musician in the wedding party who had nothing but the highest praise for the trio that was playing. We would recommend In the Blue to anyone getting married in the area.

I could say a million great things about Joe and the main street band. From the very start of planning Joe was very responsive and informative. As we got closer to the day Joe even took the time to communicate with our venue and day of coordinator to ensure everything would run smoothly. The day of Joe and the band were extremely professional and efficient with set up and Mc'ing for the night of speeches, dinner, etc. The best part of all was when they got their time to shine and play for the night. They blew us away with their talent and energy, taking requests and improvising the "unique" ones. They were so so much fun and so entertaining. We have guests still talking about how much fun they had and how much they enjoyed watching them. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone!

Soulstice is an amazing band that gets people of all ages dancing all night. They were recommended by friends who hired them for their wedding and when we saw them at a local bar, we knew we had to hire them. It was so much fun and everybody had a great time. They were really affordable as well, and definitely worth having over a DJ. There's something that really makes a party with a band, and Soulstice delivered beyond our expectations.

Love this band! They played at my sister's wedding 5 years ago and there is no one else I would have called for my wedding! They are willing to accommodate special songs (learned a song just for my wedding) and definitely know how to play to the crowd! The dance floor was packed and everyone was singing along! I can't wait to plan another party!

Starfarm did a great job at our wedding. They provided cocktail hour and dinner music and also a DJ during the band breaks. The band is an 80's cover band and they dress in 80's track suits. Dana did a great job being the MC for the night and everything went so smoothly. We got so many compliments about the band and the dance floor was rocking all night! We loved having a live band over a DJ and would definitely book them for events in the future.
