Uptown Entertainment provides exceptional musical entertainment for any occasion, featuring dueling pianos, DJ, live music, and karaoke.

Uptown Entertainment provides a range of services for wedding ceremonies and receptions! Our two PA systems make it possible to have music ready for both the ceremony and reception.

Ceremony:
During the ceremony Jonny can play piano music ranging from the classical “Canon in D” to Journey’s “Faithfully”. The bride and groom have the option of choosing solely instrumental piano or the addition of vocals. Or playing a mix of MP3s and piano playing, or only MP3s can also be arranged. Jonny will also have a wireless microphone available for the ceremony if needed.

Reception:
For the reception, Jonny can DJ, play live music as a duo, trio, or full band, or bring dueling pianos to the event! He will also be available to MC the reception, and will have a wireless microphone available for toasts and announcements.

Description of Services:

Live Music: Jonny plays as a soloist on the keyboard/piano, as a duo with a drummer, as a trio with a drummer and bass guitarist, or as a four-part band with a drummer, bass guitarist, and electric guitarist. Having the option to hand pick the band helps create the perfect ambiance for your event! Jonny and the Uptown Entertainment band play cover music from the 50's - today and they are always ready for your requests!

DJ Jonny Rink: As a DJ, Jonny has all of the necessary top of the line, digital sound equipment and lighting. He also has a very extensive song library including top new songs, and of course, all of the favorites to get people out on the dance floor! If there is a song requested that he does not have, he will download it on the spot with his wireless broadband device. Jonny also has a wireless microphone available for toasts and announcements.

Uptown Karaoke: Using the best Karaoke software and top of the line sound equipment, you're sure to sound like a rockstar!

Uptown Dueling Pianos: This dueling piano performance can range from two pianists and a drummer to an all out party including the two dueling pianists along with a drummer, bass guitarists, and electric guitarist. Request slips will be made available and the best musicians will be on the scene, making for an unforgettable experience.

Uptown Entertainment was created by Jonny Rink, a seasoned musician who wanted to begin his own musical entertainment business. Jonny comes from a family of musical talent, and started taking piano lessons when he was only five years old. He enjoys sharing his enthusiasm and love of music with others and has been performing professionally since 2006. When he is not playing for his own business, Uptown Entertainment, he also free lances with other bands and churches in the West Michigan area.
