About

We’re proud of the place the Grand Traverse Pie Company calls home. It is a land defined by the seasons, influenced and inspired by water, wind, snow and sun. A land of bounty that goes far beyond our famous cherries. First and foremost, we are pie makers. Pie is a celebration of family and tradition, neatly and deliciously packaged in a flaky crust. Our passion is to recreate those memorable “pie moments” from long ago. Our bakers take great pride in crafting each or our pies by hand and baking them slowly until they are just right. Like our grandmothers, they have the “eye for pie.” To that end, we celebrate pie.

Wedding Pie Options:

We love to celebrate love and weddings. We are proud to offer our pies and desserts for all types of special events. Whether baking a variety of your favorite flavors in 9″ or 6″ mini sizes or making one of our large 20″ pies (which can serve 75-100 people), we would love to be a part of your special occasion. All of our guests LOVED having Grand Traverse Pie Company pies for dessert. They were such a hit! We offered cherry and apple with crumb topping. They even came pre-sliced!

We wanted pie instead of cake and they make the best pie in the world (not an exaggeration). The were very accommodating with our order even despite our wedding being the day after a holiday (new year's). We were very pleased with them!

We ordered pies to serve on our dessert table alongside our cake. The pies were fabulous and a big hit at our wedding! They were very easy to talk to and we were able to order as many different flavors as we wanted. We ended up ordering 10 different flavors, and each and every one was absolutely delicious. The pies with crusts had cute little heart cut-outs, which was the perfect touch for the occasion. They were flexible with pick-up times and were overall so easy and pleasant to work with. I would recommend them in a heartbeat.

Amazing pie for our autumn wedding!

We loved our pie from Grand Traverse Pie Company. They were flexible with pickup times in the morning and made it fresh the day of. So tasty and it looked beautiful. We had the Apple Mountaintop pie.

First off, let me clarify that we had wedding pie, not wedding cake. My husband and I got married on Pi Day, so naturally, we had to have wedding pie. We live in the Chicagoland area, but my husband lived in Michigan for several years, and we visit there at least twice a year, and every time, we go to Grand Traverse Pie Company for their outstanding food and (of course) pie. When we decided to have pie for our wedding, we knew we were going to figure out a way to have GT Pie. We contacted the Grand Haven locations, and they were very willing to work with us and customize our very large pie order, even giving us advice on how the various pies held up during travel. We had friends who were coming down for the wedding, and the Grand Haven GT Pie had the pies ready to go when they said they would so our friends could pick them up and bring them to the wedding. The pies were a huge hit with our guests, and they held up very well, even for over a week after the wedding (we had leftovers).

We had pie instead of cake. This place makes the best pies I have ever had in my life so it was an easy choice. They even baked the pies with little heart cutouts in the crusts, and baked us a heart shaped pie to cut. Buy a dozen pies and get one free. Highly recommended.
