Which lighting
situations do you have experience with?
At a wedding we come across many different lighting situations each week. All of us have a vast knowledge of how to work in those different circumstances. |

media preference?
Digital is our preference. |
How many
photographers do you work with?
We have four lead photographers, and four second shooters. |
Do you
guarantee your presence at the actual event?
We have multiple photographers that work for our studio. The photographers are available on a first come first serve basis. The photographer that you book is the one that will be at your event along with a second photographer. |
Do you
sometimes book yourself for more than one wedding in a day?
No. Each photographer only photographs one wedding per weekend for the studio. |
Do you have a
replacement photographer in case you become unavailable on
the wedding day?
Yes. We have multiple photographers who work for the studio and also belong to local professional organizations that help each other out in emergency situations. |
What kind of
equipment do you typically bring with you on the day-of?
All professional SLRs, Lenses, and Flashes. |
Do you bring
back-up equipment to the event in case of malfunction?
Yes, always. |
Do you charge
hourly or full day?
We have a variety of packages based on increments of time. |
If hourly, are
you available for shooting overtime? If so, how much do you
charge for overtime?
Yes. Overtime is $500/hour. |
Do you require
a meal break? If yes, do you require that the wedding party
provide your meal?
Yes, we ask that you provide all the photographers with a meal at the event. We typically eat while you are eating your meal so that we do not miss anything. It's also a good idea to seat your photographers in the main room in case anything unexpected should occur. |
How many breaks
do you usually take throughout the day?
One. Although we may have a quick snack earlier in the day if time allows. |
Do you charge
for travel?
Only if it's over 50 miles outside of Chicago. |
How soon after
the event are the proofs ready for viewing?
4-6 weeks.

In what format
are the initial proofs offered?
They will be viewable online at Pictage.com. We also provide deluxe proof books. |
How long can
the couple keep the proofs?
Forever. |
Do you retain
the copyright for the photos?
We retain the copyright but do provide limited copyright to our clients so that they can print the images if they purchase the negatives.

Will images be

When will I get
the final book?
Once you choose the images for your album and sign off on the final design, it will take two months for production. |
How long does
it take to deliver a book?
You can pick it up once it's finished or we can deliver it to you priority mail for an additional fee. |
