Nova Photos

I cannot say enough great things about Nova Photos. We enlisted a team for Photo, Video AND Photobooth services for our wedding and the entire team went above and beyond to help make our day unforgettable. Van was our main point of contact from the start (and, ended up being our photo booth operator at our reception) and he was nothing short of professional and helpful. He was always very quick to respond and made himself available for all our questions. He was also flexible throughout the entire planning/prep process, working with us as we got closer to the big day, helping to ensure everything worked out as we were envisioning :) I was so glad Van was the one operating the photo booth so we could meet in person! The booth was an ABSOLUTE hit at the wedding and Van engaged with all our guests helping them feel comfortable and getting some REALLY fun shots! Maks (photographer) and Hannan (videographer) were our photo/video dynamic duo and they were AMAZING!! They both spoke with us multiple times leading up to the wedding, helping prepare us for what to expect day of and working to ensure we were building a schedule for the day that would allow for ALL the moments we wanted to capture. Of course, as is life, day of our schedule got derailed a few time throughout... but Maks and Hannan remained professional and flexible- adapting accordingly throughout! Maks and Hannan went FAR above and beyond their core responsibilities. They helped us figure out a route for our Wedding Party trolly and group shots, they found opportunities to ensure my Husband and I were able to get pictures with every one at the wedding AND (most of all) they brought energy and excitement that kept our wedding party GOING. They were fun and funny, which just made the whole day that much better. Maks was the one who actually bustled my dress after the ceremony and Maks + Hannan were the ones who got us into the reception space early for a preview (vs our wedding coordinator who was supposed to) - capturing photo/video along the way. They really just made the most of every moment, listened and got EVERY important shot that Sean and I wanted and just overall helped make our day absolutely magical. 10/10 recommend- their prices are fair and the whole team at Nova Photos are just absolute professionals and just all around cool people!

Had Michelle and aksel for my wedding last weekend and could not If been happier. They knew exactly what they wanted made the pictures process easy and fast. Great people all around and so easy to work with!! 100% recommend them and nova photos!!!

Nova photography as a whole was an absolute pleasure to work with from our engagement shoot through our wedding day. Our engagement shoot was over 90 degrees and Maks brought a small fan and a positive attitude that kept the entire day moving smoothly and likely saved many photos from being ruined by the heat! He was receptive to both our ideas and came with plenty of photo ideas and ideal locations that gave us so many wonderful options to work with for both of our ceremonies, Hindu and Catholic. David and Maks joined us on our wedding day and the energy lifted the moment they walked in! Despite the rain, they found amazing locations inside of the venue that allowed us to take photos with our family and bridal party and during the ceremony, they navigated difficult shooting conditions regarding a ban against flash photography. While our day didn’t go exactly to plan, they ensured that we would still have gorgeous photos to look back on. They brought sunset lighting to combat the overcast weather and showed us a sneak peak during the shoot which looked absolutely gorgeous. All of our family and friends complimented their positivity and the entire day was beautiful. One thing I will note, as a bride who has gone through two ceremonies and many, many guests; my last ceremony felt like I became a prop in my guests photos. This was absolutely not the case with Nova. They ensured that I was able to get the photos I wanted and were determined to make the entire day feel like the photos were simply an addition to the event, instead of the main purpose as my other photographer had in April. I also would like to shout out Van for always being available for any questions throughout the planning period.

Our photographer and videographer, Ben and Anton, did an incredible job capturing all the special moments of our wedding day, from the big moments to the little details and candid memories that we didn’t even get to see ourselves. The photo booth was also such a fun addition! Our guests absolutely loved it, and it gave everyone another way to have fun and create memories throughout the night.
We are so grateful to have chosen such an amazing team to capture one of the most important days of our lives. They went above and beyond, and we would recommend them to any couple looking for people who are talented, professional, and genuinely care about making your wedding day special.

Florin was our photographer for our small home wedding and he did an amazing job! He went above and beyond getting all of the requested photos. We felt very comfortable with him and he was very encouraging throughout the process!

We’re so happy we chose Nova Photos for both our engagement photos and wedding! Van was great with all communication leading up to the day. Maks, our photographer for both events, was absolutely amazing... great energy, hilarious, and always willing to go the extra mile to get the perfect shot. Florin, our videographer, was also extremely professional and did a great job capturing everything from the best angles. We had an amazing experience with the Nova team and would absolutely recommend them. We’ll definitely be using them again!
