I had the pleasure of working with Sammi and let me tell you, she was so sweet, so positive and so fun! She worked extremely well with my photographer and was just a breath of fresh air and helped me stay calm on such a naturally chaotic day!

Sammi mainly focuses on weddings but during covid was offering family sessions and after seeing how amazing ours turned out we just knew we had to book her once we got engaged. She is so nice and truly went out of her way to make sure she got every single shot. I had never met her videographer before but Tessa was amazing as well. She had so many cute/cool ideas and every time she showed me the magic she got on her camera I was in awe. Both Sammi and Tessa hyped me up literally all day and night and you could tell they meant it.. they weren’t just saying it “bc it was their job” or “to be nice”. Their prices were very fair and if you check out their work you’ll see that they’re worth a million bucks. Please please do not skimp on photography or videography for the day of your wedding. I am someone that has to vet everything I do, especially when it came to booking wedding vendors. I was very careful when picking a photographer because I had no idea what a good wedding photographer meant... and I wanted to make sure they looked nice and processional while also capturing all the special candid moments.

Sammi was so patient though my "vetting process" as I asked countless questions about different packages, locations, and more.
I loved that A couple weeks before our wedding we met for drinks to discuss important photos / moments we wanted captured. I WAS SO NERVOUS!! However, there was no need to be. Sammi guided us every step of the way! She was amazing on the day of the wedding too. She was very calm and go with the flow and super accommodating to standard wedding day chaos!

I've only received my sneak peak so far, however, let me tell you, they are ABSOLUTELY BEYOND amazing. I can't wait to see the rest. Trust me when I say, you will not regret working with Sammi. I hope to book her for future family portraits!!

Sammi Benson and her videographer did such an amazing job at my wedding on Halloween! They were so fun to work with and can truly capture the perfect moments of your wedding day! We had met the owner of Fine Detailed Photography, Sammi for our engagement photos, at which point she was helpful and flexible and helped us make the most of gale-force winds and below freezing temperatures to get some beautiful photos.
For our wedding, we had canceled the big celebration due to Covid-19 concerns, and decided with a few weeks to spare to do a small backyard wedding. Sammi got back to us immediately and was available and super responsive as we tried to pull everything together so quickly. She was again a joy to work with, even on a hot and humid day.
I can now say with certainty that Sammi will make your day beautiful rain or shine, freezing wind or blazing heat. We are 100% happy with our decision!

We are so happy we chose Sammi at Fine Detailed Photography to capture our wedding day. She was so accommodating with it being a COVID-19 wedding (that was rescheduled and being planned in just 2 weeks). She was professional and made everybody feel comfortable the day of. We were blown away by her ability to adjust to the varying locations and lighting during our ceremony, as it was a challenge with some difficult weather! I can't say enough good things about working with Sammi. We were married on Feb 22, 2020 and we worked with Sammi through our engagement photos and on our wedding day. She is creative, professional, and willing to work with you on any ideas you may have. She has so many interesting photo and video techniques that she uses as well that create beautiful, unique photos. We received our engagement photos a week or so after our photoshoot and we have been obsessed with them ever since. We're still waiting to receive our wedding photos and video (although we did receive a few amazing teaser photos from it so far), but I am confident that they will be beautiful. Sammie and Linnea was so easy to work with! They listen to your requests and provide expert advise! We are so happy with the pictures and wished we could have paid double to get double the amount of pictures! even though they already gave us over 500 high quality photos! The video made us cry and thought of our special day all over again. If I were to give any advise to those who are considering to hire them, it would be to pay for the top package so everything on that day will be reflected on the photos as if they were taken from your own eyes and a vision of your day in your photos that you will cherish forever!
