Alex was, without a doubt, one of my favorite vendors to work with (and continues to be, even post wedding). She was an absolute blast to have there on my wedding day, kept me calm during a dress malfunction, and went so far above and beyond in getting our pictures. Alex is incredible. What first drew me to her page was her portfolio and her use of light. I was concerned with us having a winter wedding where the sunlight is rare, and it was super important for us to find someone who knew how to find natural light sources or create them! Alex was super responsive and was quick to send me examples of her work in low lighting wedding days and how they turned out! She is truly talented. She was a crucial part of our wedding day helping us create a timeline and keeping us on track, one of the reasons we didn't hire a planner! She kept the day moving and wasn't afraid to hurt anybody's feelings to keep them moving on timeline and get the most beautiful photos she can. You can tell how much passion she has for her work and editing, we got the photos right on timeline and she even offers the opportunity to create a BEAUTIFUL custom wedding album. I found Alex's info from Instagram and my fiancé and I decided to meet with her based on how impressed we were with the pictures on her website. She came to the meeting with many photo books and examples of her work, which were all excellent. Alex made a great first impression – she was on time, professional, very outgoing and happy to answer all our questions. We decided to book her, which was very reasonably priced, and I’m so happy we did. All of our impressions of her from our initial meeting held true through the whole process. I actually never had to get a hold of Alex with any questions, she initiated contact with me either just to check in, or remind me of the due dates for the shot list, final payment, etc., which I really appreciated since I had so many deadlines and dates in my head. Almost 6 weeks later I had the online gallery of all the shots just like she had promised. We couldn’t have been happier with the pictures she took, they’re amazing and we’re so excited to get our completed album and hang our favorites.

Alex made us feel so comfortable when we were taking photos, both for our engagement shoot and for the big day. We love how our photos turned out--they are so dreamy, light-filled, and beautiful!

We were so incredibly lucky to have Alex as our wedding photographer. She was extremely kind and flexible from the start, especially with us needing to postpone our wedding due to COVID a year ago. When we were finally able to have our wedding, Alex was there with us every step of the way and even eased my anxiety during the morning of while I was getting ready. She always has a smile on her face and she is so well organized that I knew I didn't have to stress about that part of the day.

We worked with Alex to do both our engagement pictures and our wedding ceremony. She was a pleasure to work with and made us feel so comfortable. She went above and beyond to make dealing with COVID logistics and replanning less stressful. We ended up doing a small courthouse wedding ceremony, and the pictures are breathtaking! Choosing Alex to be our wedding photographer was one of the best decisions we made. During the planning process, she helped us with a timeline of events, which was really helpful. While on our 2nd anniversary trip to Chicago, we asked a stranger to take a photo of us. She smiled and said, "of course!" Shortly after, she raised her camera and said, "I'm actually a wedding photographer and I can take a few shots and email them to you if you'd like." We accepted and she took a few shots. A little less than a month later, I received a text that said, "check your email for a surprise :)." Slightly scared, I opened my email to find a gallery of BEAUTIFUL photos that will serve as the perfect memento of our 2 year milestone.
