     Happily Ever After understands that a destination wedding is more than just the day of the wedding. The ceremony, the reception, and the honeymoon all occur ovear a long weekend, along with other wedding activities designed to bring your family and friends together.

What is our first step?

Happily Ever After can book Key West wedding ceremonies seven days a week. We offer ceremonies on the beach, churches and gardens. After deciding on a time frame, contact Happy Ever After Weddings to check on the availability of dates. We require a 50% nonrefundable deposit to secure the date and time. Once the date and time have been established for your Key West wedding, we will send you a contract outlining the wedding services selected. The contract must be signed and returned to confirm the booking along with a required 50% deposit payment.

How far in advance do we need to book?
 

Most Key West weddings book nine months in advance of the ceremony. The sooner we are contacted, the better we can accommodate your request. As soon as you know the date and time, the more chance you will have to secure the date and time you want for your Key West wedding ceremony. Because wedding ceremonies can be booked seven days a week, we encourage you to book as soon as possible. However, should you decide last minute, please feel free to call us about availability.

How do we contact Happily Ever After?

When it is completed click, ‘submit.’ Upon receipt of your complete form, a Wedding Planner will contact you to put together a proposal.

How do you set an appointment for a site tour?
 

In order to better serve you, we ask that all Brides and Grooms have a tentative contract proposal before making an appointment. However, We will work with you!!

What does the Wedding Planner do?

Your Wedding Planner will take you through every step of the wedding planning process. Working closely with you, the Planner will be your contact for the wedding ceremony and reception. Together you will determine what type of flowers, music, photographer, videographer and clergy member you would like for your ceremony. We will even make salon and spa appointments for you. You can relax while your Planner handles all hiring, ordering and confirmations.

Our Coordinators provide several different services ranging from coordinating all the details, to managing specific areas of planning, or facilitating the wedding day only. Do we need to bring our own wedding attire?
 

It is recommended that the bridal couple make arrangements to bring their own wedding gown and tuxedo or have it sent to the resort in advance. For an additional cost, the resort’s professional Valet Laundry staff can assist with any steaming or pressing. Please request the service at least 24 hours prior to the ceremony.

In addition, there are shops on Key West that do carry tux/suit rentals and informal gowns that can be used as bridal attire.
 

How do we obtain a marriage license?

You will need to provide identification, valid passport or driver’s license and social security card number.
•    The Bride and Groom must be 18 years of age or 16 with parental consent.
•    No blood test required.
•    No waiting for non-Florida residents.
•    Florida residents require a 3-day waiting period after obtaining their marriage license.

What is your payment schedule?
 

In order to confirm a date and time, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of the total package price, along with your signed contract, is required at the time of booking your Key West wedding. The complete remaining balance is due 60 days before the wedding. All major credit cards are accepted for payment as well as personal checks. For travel professionals, we do not offer discounts or commissions for any wedding services.
