Debra Mixon has been planning events for people all around the Lowcountry for years.  After planning several weddings for her friends and family, Debra became passionate about planning weddings. "I saw the stress that brides went through and wanted so badly to help them", stated Debra talking about wedding day stress. "I knew I could. I love bringing a bride’s dreams to life." Debra returned to the classroom and completed the Professional Planners Certification program through Penn Foster College. Debra is now an accredited Professional Bridal Consultant.

Debra soon opened A Blissful Event Wedding Planning. Although she was qualified to plan any event, she wanted to focus her energy primarily on weddings. She opened her own business in order to be free to service more women on a personal level.  She was determined to only serve the interests of her clients.

Debra plans weddings from the spectacular to the simple. She has earned a reputation as the smart choice for anyone wanting to create a magical event.
