He even came with us to pick rentals and shared his taste with me in such an open, fun way. I know some people don’t want their planner’s aesthetic mixed in, but I absolutely loved his. His taste genuinely elevated the day.

I also appreciated how honest and open he was with budgeting. No pressure, no surprises- just clarity, reality, and helping us make choices that felt right for us.

His vendor list is huge and incredible, but he was just as open and supportive with the vendors we found ourselves. And honestly? Every single vendor we had ended up being amazing. It felt like every piece just clicked into place and created this world that was cinematic and so genuinely us.

Our wedding — to me — was the best in the world. And I truly hope every couple gets to feel that way about their own day. That feeling is priceless. And Mike was a huge part of making that happen for us.

The absolute best decision my husband and I made for our wedding was hiring Mike Winship! We wanted a destination wedding in Charleston with little information about the area and how to go about planning a wedding in general. All of our doubts about making our dream wedding happen disappeared after our first chat with Mike. He was beyond thorough, attentive, and extremely easy to work with. He has great relationships with numerous vendors in the Charleston area which made it so easy to select the best options tailored to our vision. The planning process can be stressful, but Mike took loads off of our shoulders by providing us with organized information about everything we needed to know. Where do I even begin when it comes to Mike? From the first moment we spoke over the phone, we clicked, and I knew he was the planner for us. He completely exceeded our expectation with not only the execution of our dream wedding, but the planning process itself. I knew planning a destination wedding was going to present its unique challenges, so it was important to me to find someone who could be boots-on-the-ground in Charleston, already familiarized with the best vendors in the area, etc. Mike was there every step of the way, helping us check everything off our list, sending me extensive lists of vendor options, giving honest feedback and insight that was desperately needed, sending photos of our rental selections that I couldn't see myself in person, and making us laugh along the way (important!!!!). As an anxious person, I loved having someone that made me feel calm throughout the process, frequently checking in and ensuring that we were "progressing nicely" (his signature phrase). He truly nailed it from start to finish, and I feel genuinely lucky that I get to call him a friend when all the planning was said and done.
