Carla and the Perfect Peony helped create the most beautiful Charleston destination wedding for my daughter Molly. It was like something straight out of Southern Living magazine which was the exact look Molly wanted. Carla is so easy to work with, responsive, answered each and every question, and set us up with the best team from venue, catering, rentals, spray tan places, photography, entertainment, you name it. The Perfect Peony made the wedding day easy, seamless, and magical. The absolute perfect day!!! Carla’s attention to detail and guidance was irreplaceable. We could not have done it with her. Recommended 1000%. The best decision we made to make 4/16/2026 a day our whole family will forever remember!

From day 1, Carla made us feel so calm and prepared for each step of this process. I am type A, and so is my mom, so when we would get anxious about a vendor or due date, Carla made sure we were doing everything on time and correctly. She made us a complete schedule of when we should have things completed and made sure we were always on track (if not ahead of schedule). She helped us pick all our vendors based on our specific vision and curated the most perfect day exactly how we envisioned it. She has worked for years in the Carolinas and already knows and trusts amazing vendors, and her recommendations could not have been better! Carla was also such an amazing presence on the day of. When things felt chaotic, Carla and team would swoop in and ensure everything was just fine and went according to plan! I will truly miss getting to speak to her every week, as she was such a light during one of the best times in our lives, and we could not recommend her more!

I can’t say enough on behalf of Carla & her entire team for their part in bringing my daughter’s wedding dreams to life. Carla is an absolute pleasure to work with. Her experience, reputation and relationships with other vendors was not only top notch but comes about effortlessly. Her familiarity with the venue - Lagare Waring in Charleston was key as she guided us on every detail. We watched her and her team work from the earliest hours of the morning throughout the entire day for set up and they didn’t stop until our event was complete, clean up was done and any special personal belongings were loaded into our vehicle. Carla carried herself so calmly & with the utmost of professionalism covering every square inch of the venue ensuring every last detail was in place and executed to the fullest . Be it florals, signage, decor, table settings, spacing, layout and beyond . . . Carla ensured every detail was checked for perfection. She had a wonderful way of checking in and ensuring critical vendor deadlines were met throughout the planning process. And even when my daughter’s all consuming veterinary internship & residency schedule made wedding planning and phone calls an utter challenge, Carla was patient, understanding & flexible. She is worth every penny and more and will absolutely not disappoint. I can only hope to be able to work with her again for another event! Thank you ever so much Carla & Perfect Peony Events 💕

Carla & her team were amazing! We booked the month-of coordinator option, and it was SO helpful during the last month of planning when everything is coming together! She was extremely responsive and helped think through every single detail. Her timeline & communication with vendors was incredible! We were so relaxed going into our wedding knowing Carla was there to take care of things. She is exceptionally organized, efficient, and thoughtful! Carla was an absolute lifesaver as our day-of wedding coordinator. We planned our destination wedding entirely from NJ, and she put every piece together seamlessly. I felt completely calm on the wedding day, knowing she had everything taken care of, from deliveries to all the little details. At one point, I even forgot my bouquet before photos, and somehow she got it to me in under two minutes (in downtown Charleston). We were also running behind on photos, and as I entered the venue (with only one entrance), she magically kept me hidden from guests. I can’t thank her enough for making our day so smooth and stress-free! It was the absolute best day of our lives.
