- Drink plenty of water the week before your wedding.
-
Watch your salt intake a few days before your big day. You do not want to feel bloated and puffy as you walk down the aisle.
- Do not get a facial no later than 2 two weeks before your wedding. Weddings are stressful enough and a facial can sometimes promote blemishes.
-
Make sure your Make-Up Artist waterproofs everything (shadow, liner, mascara, lipstick).
- If feasable, consider teeth whitening prior to your wedding for that perfect Bridal smile.
-
Sleep is the best beauty weapon we have - get lots of it the week before your wedding.
- Get your eye-brows waxed, shapped and groomed no sooner than 5 - 7 days before your day so any redness/bumps disapate.
- Carry a small bottle of de-reddening eye drops on the wedding day in case of tears. These drops will instantly remove eye redness.
- If you tan before you wedding please be cautious not to get sunburned. It is very difficult for make-up to look good on a sun burned face.
- On your big day, try to keep your hands off your face. Although a habit for most people, you may wipe away your make-up with your own hands.
- In your wedding purse, carry a package of blotting papers. These are excellent for blotting off any oil or sweat and brings your make-up look back to perfection.
