Chef Frederik De Pue is known in Washington DC’s dynamic food world as an international trend setter. Belgium-born, Chef Frederik trained in one of the best schools in Europe and worked at several top restaurants throughout Belgium and France. In 2000, he arrived in Washington to become the Executive Chef of the European Commission Delegation Ambassador and was highly praised in the diplomatic circle. Inspired by international ingredients, seasonal fare and constantly reinventing classics, Chef Frederik has built his company, 42˚, based on menus and events described as “thoughtful,” “beautifully executed,” “phenomenal,” “way beyond,” and “extraordinary.” Chef Frederik and his wife, Sylvia, are based in the DC area with their two young children, Valentine and Sebastien. |
