Classic Catering

I'll add more photos when we get them back BUT until then... words cannot express how amazing Classic Catering and all their staff are! Due to some unforseen issues, we had to change caterers two months before our wedding with over 200 guests. Sandy was so quick to jump to our rescue! When I say I was a complete wreck when we first spoke, it's an understatement! By the time we were off the phone, I was smiling and relaxing, I was confident the show would go on, and boy did it!

Norma and Sasha were so great with all of our needs, last minute changes, venue walkthroughs, etc etc etc.

From the moment I arrived at the venue, everyone was so sweet! I of course was a nervous wreck but even while setting up and greeting guests with drinks, they took ime to make sure I had water, a snack, and lots of compliments. The food was amazing and looked even better. People commented a ton about the food. Dulce was at the lead that day and was such a joy! I planned a surprise private dinner for just the hubs and I. Dulce made it happen perfectly!!!

Seriously, I cannot say enough how grateful I am for everyone at Classic Catering!

We had our DC wedding back in October 2025 and overall had a really positive experience. There was a slight miscommunication with chair arrangement during set up, but got it figured out quickly! The food was delicious, beautifully presented, and we received a lot of compliments from our guests throughout the night, especially the appetizers (crab dip was a major hit)!

We truly appreciated their effort in helping make the day special. Thank you to Sandy and the entire catering team for your hard work and for contributing to such a memorable celebration.

The food was absolutely amazing. All of our guests mentioned how great the food was and the wait staff was so nice and helpful. Sandy coordinated everything with our wedding coordinator and was flexible with all changes and last minute decision on linens, place settings, etc. she really helped bring the tables to life. The cooks had everything cooked to a perfection both during the tasting and on the wedding day. They provided the drink mixers, soft drinks, table settings, and ask linens needed. The wait staff was so friendly and made sure everybody got their appetizers on time during cocktail hour. At the end of the night, they took the trash, mopped the fours, packed up our food, and gave us a friendly congratulations on our wedding day. I would highly recommend hitting classic catering for your event

We found Classic Catering after our previously booked caterer unexpectedly dropped out. Needless to say, we were very stressed about needing to find a new caterer but Sandy was wonderful to work with. She was extremely responsive, answering every little question and reassuring me throughout the process. Before we even booked Classic Catering, Sandy arranged for us to do a tasting and went all out with a full spread of food and decor. We lived out of the area so Sandy arranged the tasting for us on a Sunday when we were visiting which is typically the team's day off. Our guests raved about the food, particularly the Tavern Filet Medallions which were cooked to perfection. I don't think I have ever had a true medium rare steak at a wedding and each plate was consistent. Sandy also was willing to work with us on a creating late night snack. My husband is from upstate New York where Garbage Plates are a signature dish (it is more delicious than it sounds!) Despite not knowing what the dish was, Sandy and the entire team were committed to bringing our vision to life and offered useful suggestions for the best way to serve the dish. Aside from the delicious food, Classic Catering also provided beautiful decor options including tablecloths, table settings, and more. Our venue also provided many of the items but Classic Catering was more than willing to customize our contract and removed items that weren't necessary. Thank you to Sandy and the entire team for making our special day so beautiful!

Classic Catering really helped to make our wedding so spectacular. Sandy was always quick to respond and was incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process, really helping us to make sure every detail was well thought out. The food options were great, and our guests just loved all the food and drinks throughout the night! The entire team the day of ensured all the details were executed beautifully and did an incredible job being on top of everything. We highly recommend the Classic Catering team!

The catering, both food and service, provided by Classic Catering was absolutely THE highlight of our wedding. Our guests are still raving about how epic the food was. If you’re on the fence about choosing Classic Catering, don’t hesitate for a second longer. It was by far the best decision we made in planning our wedding. Not only was the food insanely good, but the food display during cocktail hour was out of this world. Sandy and Norma are beasts at their job, steered us in the right direction the entire time, and were so attentive to our needs. The staff on the day of, from bartenders to waiting staff were also a dream. There is absolutely no exaggeration in this review. They delivered from start to finish and we have guests still contacting us for the catering company’s info. I actually wish they have a restaurant we can order from so we can enjoy their food all the time. THANK YOU CLASSIC CATERING for MAKING our wedding day impeccable!!

I cant say enough good things about Classic Catering and their team. We had to scramble last minute (day before my wedding) to change all the plans due to tropical storm Ophelia and classic catering team pulled it off without a hitch! The team came many hours earlier that they were originally supposed to set up and make sure all the food was exactly as we wanted! All the food from apps, to entrees to the desserts were amazing! Guests were particularly impressed by the unique passed apps ( cute mini tomato bisque shooters!) and the ice cream float station. Sandy was a hoot to work with and the team is superaccommodating and will work with you on just about everything! Norma and her team did a fantastic job supervising my event and I highly highly recommend classic catering!

Our initial wedding caterer fell through for our backyard wedding; we contacted Sandy with only a few weeks to spare. She immediately responded and quickly developed a wonderful menu, just as we wanted.
The day of, Alejandra and her team did a FABULOUS job. It was miraculous how they were able to be there for our every need, but not at all in the way. Beyond their normal duties, they also helped us set up a photo booth, restocked our soda cooler, orderly re-packed all the leftovers, and left our place SPOTLESS.
By the time we found Classic Catering, we had already hired a bar tender. Alejandra and her team worked fluidly with our outsourced bar tender and were happy to provide extra ice and cups when our bar tender ran out.
We and our guests loved the food, beautiful displays, and adorable mini desserts. We can’t speak more highly of them, it was just as we envisioned .

From the moment we spoke with Sandy, we knew that we'd book Classic Catering. Her team's responsiveness, professionalism, and kindness made our experience working with them truly excellent. They were incredibly flexible and helped to customize our menu for both the rehearsal dinner and wedding day. They had tons of great options and were so much more affordable than many of their competitors in the region. We loved working with Brenda and her team on the day of the wedding - they handled the appetizers, meals, and late night snack with professionalism and a good sense of humor. We highly recommend Classic!

Classic Catering is EVERYTHING. From start to finish they were incredible. Sandy was so enthusiastic and creative in making a menu that fit our vibe and what we were going for PERFECTLY. Our tasting was a whole experience. She matched the tasting tablescape to our style and treated us like family. We got to try all the delicious food that would be served on our wedding day and it got us even more hyped (if even possible). Her passion for what she does and making people happy is out of this world. She really goes the extra mile and puts so much care into her clients. Watching her creative mind create an entire concept that encapsulates everything you want your day to be is SO MUCH FUN. SHE NAILED IT.

My family went to an event Classic was serving food at and Sandy, Norma, and Sasha treated them like gold (we had already booked them so there was no need to...but they did it because that's just who they are). Anytime we have had their food we are wowed.

On the day of our wedding, the Classic Catering Team SHOWED UPPPP (as they always do). They did so much work to adhere to our venue's guidelines for setup/breakdown all while making the best tasting food and handling the entire day with smiles on their sweet faces. From the old fashioned soda bottles, mini passed foods before and after the ceremony, family style dinner, late night tacos and mini burgers, and churros for dessert, everyone was in food heaven. They accommodated my mom's food allergies so she could enjoy just like everyone else. It was a whole EXPERIENCE. Friends and fellow wedding vendors who have been to MANY weddings told me it was the best wedding food they've ever had. THEY RAVED. It's been a month and everyone is still talking about how delicious it was. Friends at our wedding booked them for their wedding because it was just that good. Each staff member was so kind and sweet. If there was anything difficult behind the scenes, I never would have known because everyone was so happy and nice.

Norma was our day of Catering Captain. She's an absolute DREAM. She could run an event with her hands tied behind her back. She was a calming presence and magically popped up every time we needed something. She even gave me bobby pins out of her own hair when my veil wouldn't stay in. She was there with private drinks and plates of food for me and my husband before and after the ceremony. She made sure we had time to eat at the reception without anyone bothering us. She was by our side with so much care and attention. She ran everything so beautifully. We never needed or wanted anything because she was already there taking care of it. She's a gem.

Classic Catering went above and beyond. We wanted late night mini margaritas passed out with our late night tacos to all our guests and they did all the coordinating with the bar to make it happen. They even brought my husband and I our own mini marg shooters (with our names on them) so we could do a shot on the dance floor. The day of they surprised us with personalized glassware and a shot board. They washed it all and sent it home with us. With them you get so much more than you even THINK you're going to get...which is already so much.

The attention to detail we felt was wild. I KNOW they did so much behind the scenes setting up tables/chairs/dishes etc. yet still made us feel so seen and pampered and taken care of. I'm a wedding planner myself and I know it can be hard to find companies that hit every mark with not only delivering fabulously on their provided service but also being able to do it in a friendly/positive manner AND working well with all the other vendors AND paying attention to all the little details AND being a calming presence and Classic Catering does it all. We're fans for life. I can't thank them enough for helping us have the most magical day of our lives. Not only that...but the lead up to it was easy and stress free and we never even went one minute without feeling like they had our back. 1,000/10 RECOMMEND.
