Great food and service!
Genesis Delight Catering was amazing to work with for our wedding! Lindsay was super responsive and thoughtful, thinking of details we would have missed and ensuring the day was planned perfectly for a smooth flow. The staff was efficient, kind, and professional. They ensured that we were able to eat throughout the night, bringing over appetizers during our family photos and having our food ready for us as soon as we entered the reception. The food itself was amazing and we received so many compliments on how great it was after the wedding. The staff was so thoughtful in packaging some to-go boxes for us to take home with us so that we could continue to enjoy the food after the wedding was over.
Prices are also VERY reasonable and we were able to stay within our budget easily with lots of options to choose from. Highly recommend Genesis Delight Catering for your next event!

Omelettes, Waffles, and Bagel delights!
I dreamed for years of having a brunch wedding. I wanted bagels, an omelette bar, and all the other breakfast staples. When I contacted Lindsay from Genesis Delight, she was totally on board. Lindsay was always willing to respond to my emails asking about different options. She even worked with us to cater in special bagels since we wanted our favorite DC bagel shop included in the day. She was always willing to try out our fun ideas like a coffee cart before the wedding and passed milkshakes for dessert. We did a doughnut wall for our "cake" and Genesis Delight even surprised us with a big doughnut to cut for the pictures! Considering what some caterers charge in the area, we feel that we got even better service than some of the other options for a much more affordable price. I can't say enough good things about Genesis Delight and highly recommend them to provide a fantastic meal for your day!

Delicious, Knowledgeable, and Great to Work With
We used Genesis Delight Catering for our June 2024 wedding and they were wonderful to work with and the food was great! Lindsey was our coordinator through out the planning process and went above and beyond to help us plan our wedding. Lindsey was responsive, knowledgeable and wonderful to work with; emails were prompt and she helped us think ahead about all the details we needed to stay on top of. We provided our own alcohol for the wedding and Lindsey was super helpful in identifying the appropriate quantities and ensuring we were all set for the big day! We also really appreciated how accommodating Genesis was as we updated our floor plans/seating chart as we approached the wedding; as numbers changed they helped us update our tables and chairs and stayed on top of all our changing details. They were accommodating in setting up our tables and chairs a day early so we could more easily do our decorating; and the tables and chairs looked great! Their staff on the day of the wedding was professional, friendly and provided great service. The food came out wonderfully and we had numerous people say how good everything tasted! We highly recommend working with Genesis Delight Catering - they helped make our day so special and delicious!

TERRIFIC, Professional Caterer
Lindsay did an amazing job of working with us to create a custom menu for our daughter's recent wedding. It was not easy - we asked for a custom pork dish from Nicaragua and a number of special side dishes, and the chef NAILED it. Paired with the chicken with poblano cream sauce and other items from their extensive and interesting menu options, and we had a terrific buffet to offer our guests. We also offered 2 signature cocktails and several lovely appetizers that pleased our highly varied guests (vegans, vegetarians, pescatarians, folks who can't eat gluten/lactose, ETC) and received ENDLESS compliments on the food.

Phenomenal catering & service at an affordable price
I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Genesis Delight. They were amazingly flexible and worked with us to create a wonderful menu for our dinner reception. The food was delicious and beautifully displayed. I also loved the table linens and cutlery options. In the weeks before the wedding, we decided to add-on a separate cocktail reception at our church before guests transitioned to the dinner, and they came up with a tasty, custom menu for this as well. All at a wonderful price! Top-notch value all-around.

Wedding Caterer
Working with Genesis Delight, and Lindsay in particular, was great from beginning to end. The proposal, tasting, communication, and all other things that come up in between, was great. Working with Genesis was easy and stress free, and the food was delicious (according to me and my husband, but also all of our family and friends)! The ability to work with one caterer who could handle everything seamlessly was awesome!

Genesis Delight was a great choice for our wedding!
We were able to choose from a variety of package options and a large menu. Dianna and staff provided a thorough tasting that gave us the opportunity to choose food options we loved and knew would be delicious!
She was also very accommodating in making updates to our catering contract to adjust for evolving needs, guest count, and to provide alternative meals for various dietary restrictions.
The food all turned out great, and we heard from many happy guests. The service went without a hitch, the bartenders kept drinks flowing, and my husband and I didnt have to worry about anything. The highlight of the night seemed to also be the donut wall that Genesis Delight provided - there were several flavors guests could choose, and they were all devoured! would highly recommend this vendor.
