Endorsements
I have had the pleasure of working with 3Citron Caterers for many years now and they are one of our best clients. They always think of us when needing an Elegant Espresso/Cappuccino Bar or Fruit Smoothie Station to add that little extra something to their events and I recommend them often to my friends and clients.

Additional Questions and Answers
If I don’t hire a ’Day Of’ Wedding Coordinator, who will make sure my reception runs smoothly?
As well as your Chefs, Bartenders, Captians, and Waiters, your 3Citron Representative will be present at your wedding reception as a complimentary ‘Day Of’ reception coordinator. You may rely on us to receive your vendors, set up all items listed in your catering proposal as well as items that you provide, execute the timeline we have agreed upon, and any other ‘Day Of’ responsibilities. You have many important things to think about at your wedding and making sure that it is executed correctly shouldn’t be one of them - concentrate on saying ‘I Do!’

What is the difference between a plated dinner, a fully seated buffet dinner, and a partially seated cocktail dinner?
A plated dinner is an elegant way to treat your guests to a traditionally served 2-3 course meal with an elevated level of service and a more easily controlled timeline - perfect for those who want to incorporate traditional wedding activities while their guests are enjoying a leisurely dinner.

A fully-seated buffet dinner is a good way to provide all of your guests with the comfort of a seat and the tradition of a dressed dining room while still allowing for a multitude of food options - great for those with a diverse crowd who also want the "wow!" factor when guests enter the dining room.

A partially-seated cocktail buffet dinner is an effective, elegant way to encourage your guests to mingle and take advantage of an interesting site with much to see - a substantial amount of food & beverage is available at your guests’ leisure so they feel free to eat, chat, and explore.

Do you have set menus or can I make special requests?
We will send you three sample menus based on our initial conversation. These menus are only suggestions; feel free to mix and match, as well as give us requests for new ideas. We are happy to customize your menu or work with you from the ground up to create something unique and special for your wedding. If you do not see what you are looking for, please let us know.
How much can I expect to spend on catering?
Generally, a plated dinner falls between $110-$120 per guest. A fully-seated buffet dinner usually falls between $105-$115 per guest, and a partially-seated cocktail dinner falls between $100-$110. These numbers are based on average costs; we look forward to discussing your specific wedding.

Tips and Advice

When selecting a site, its is important to first decide what is most important to you: would you like all guests to eat dinner in the same room?; would you like to have outdoor space?; do you envision dancing, toasts, and other traditional wedding activities taking place between dinner courses or would you like a cocktail party where your guests mingle and eat & drink at their leisure? Once you can answer these questions you can drastically narrow down the sites you visit; if you'd like your guests to eat dinner in the same room and/or envision traditional wedding activities taking place between courses you should narrow your search to ballrooms, museums, or tented events. If you would like outdoor space, do not mind if guests eat in seperate areas and/or would like a cocktail party you should focus on historic homes and galleries. 3Citron Caterers has plenty of experience placing brides in the perfect venue - ask us how!

Prioritizing what is most important to you also helps when creating your catering proposal: do you need a full bar? a plated dinner? upgraded rentals? While it may not be financially possible to get everything you want, figuring out what you'd like the most will help you get the wedding you want at a price you can live with.
