We cannot say enough good things about Pastries a-la-carte. They are definitely more pricey than other places we looked at, but they had the best tasting cake and fillings and their decorating is pure perfection. Our cake was even more beautiful than I envisioned and our guests loved the cookie trays we got. I would definitely reccomend them for your special day.

If you are looking for a wow factor at your next event, hire Moio’s for a live cannoli station! It was a huge hit at our wedding! The fresh cannolis were out of this world. We ordered almond macaroons as well as a few other cookies for our cookie table too. Everything was incredible! Moio’s will always be one of our favorite bakeries.

Incredible to work with!  We’ve loved all of her creations and were so excited to book her for our wedding, and she did NOT disappoint!  It was beautiful, delicious, and a great value.  Highly recommend!!!

Wedding planning is stressful but I did not have to worry about my cake. I ordered a wedding cake and cupcakes and I can’t recommend someone enough. The cake was absolutely delicious and so beautifully made. My husband and I enjoyed it the second go around a year after with the piece we had frozen. If you’re looking for a professional looking cake that’s also 5 stars in the taste department look no further. They also sell gluten free cakes that I’ve tried before and is 10/10, you’d never know it was gluten free. Abbie went the extra mile for us when everything else was falling apart on our wedding day and I can’t recommend Sweet Abe’s enough.

I had Megan do a baby shower cake for our Lion King theme and she did an INCREDIBLE job!!! She totally understood our vision for what we wanted it to look like, and over-exceeded our expectations. The guests couldn't get over her creativeness, and to top it off it tasted incredible. We were very pleased with how easy she was to work with and have used her services for countless other events since then as well. I would highly recommend her!

This is a fantastic bakery, very amenable to gluten free wedding cakes that rival the look and taste of any high-end bakery wedding cake. We did a gluten-free white wedding cake with subtle white piping designs that were gorgeous in their elegance. You can ask Jim (the owner) about doing faux cakes under the very top real cake, all frosted as one to save on expense. That's what we did it and this was THE best wedding decision we made. Delicious cake, delicious frosting, elegant presentation delivered to the reception without a hitch.

The cake Cathy provided as even more Exceptional that I had expected. It was EXACTLY what I wanted and more. She even found paper thin edible butterflies that she made look as if they were flying up and around the cake. It was breathtaking and delicious. I would absolutely recommend Ms. Cathy's Confections to any bride/couple that want beauty and taste:) Thanks Cathy!

We couldn't have been more thrilled with Eliza's desserts for our Wedding Day! We had a Speakeasy Themed wedding and Eliza went above and beyond to make her desserts fit our creative (and theatrical) theme! She took such great care of us and our guests, and everyone couldn't get enough of her desserts!! We highly recommend Prohibition Pastries for any event in Pittsburgh. Eliza is so creative, friendly, professional, organized, and eagerly open to any challenge that comes her way!! She was a dream to work with, and we were so thrilled with the outcome!

We opted to do a pie buffet for our bbq theme wedding and Graham's Bakery was the perfect choice. We served blueberry, apple, dutch apple, peach, and mixed berry pies. The pie buffet was a hit. We had an initial consult visit, and then were able to call a couple of days before the wedding to confirm our flavor choices. I would definitely recommend a pie buffet and Graham's. The bakers were helpful and accommodating.

I got my wedding cake done by Debbie and it was amazingly delicious! She has so many flavors and styles to choose from. She even lets you take home a mini sample cake which was awesome. We were very pleased with her and would definitely recommend her. She even delivers right to the venue!
