When Michelle photographed my best friend's wedding, I knew I wanted her to be my wedding photographer one day in the future. Fast forward three years and she was the first vendor I booked. I found my dream venue on her Instagram and with her as my photographer I knew I was in expert hands. Her talent, attention to detail, and organization are unmatched. In addition to this, Michelle was incredibly thoughtful and supportive throughout the planning process, especially when we had to postpone from our original 2020 date. On the day of the wedding, she orchestrated everything seamlessly from the timeline to everyone involved and made us feel comfortable in front of the camera (which isn't always easy for us). I cannot recommend her enough.

Michelle is awesome! You can see Michelle's talent immediately. Just look at her photos and you see that she does the most beautiful work out there. She knows exactly what she's doing and has an amazing eye. One thing you can't see but will realize immediately upon speaking with her is that she is a legit professional. Where do I even begin? I can not say enough great things about Michelle!
My husband and I “met” Michelle over Skype after having a poor experience with our engagement photos with our original photographer. We spoke about our day and what we were looking for in our wedding photos and clicked instantly. Her aesthetic and communication went above and beyond what we could have asked for.
Michelle was so attentive to all of our details and captured every memory so perfectly. She was such a wonderful energy to have with us throughout our special day. I am forever grateful to have had Michelle capture our day and to be able to look back on images we will cherish for a lifetime of all of our loved ones.

The easiest and best decision we made during our wedding planning process was having Michelle as our photographer. She did our engagement and wedding photography and was just absolutely incredible. She was organized during the planning process sending us questionnaires to fill out and a bridal guide with helpful info. The day of, she was excited, upbeat, cheerful, and friendly, while remaining professional and efficient (especially with getting in our long list of family photos). We are so thankful to have had her as our photographer!!
And then there's her photos. Oh my god. Amazing. Simply breathtaking. INSANELY GORGEOUS! She captured our day so beautifully and in such a classic down to earth way that fits our style -- and we've only seen the preview! After our ceremony, we drove around the property where Michelle picked out places we would have never thought to take photos by... and they turned out to be some of our favorites. We are so happy with the way they came out and can't wait to see the rest! We HIGHLY recommend Michelle - she is the best there is!

One of the best decisions I made for my wedding was choosing Michelle as the photographer. Her imagery and photography style is beyond stunning, especially her use of light and ability to capture moments of pure joy between her couples. She cares about her couples' love stories and becomes an integral part of the wedding journey/process. Michelle and I would email each other throughout my engagement, and she loved hearing/seeing all of my special details (flowers, decor, etc.) leading up to the big day. She is so responsive, often emailing back the next morning even if I told her 'no rush,' and I knew I could count on her for quick answers and advice. What's key is that she made my husband and I feel so comfortable/relaxed in front of the camera, which can be tough! She has a fun, enthusiastic personality and brings out a lot of laughter during her shoots. The best is receiving an "oh my god" as she is clicking behind the camera, knowing she got a perfect shot we would love. At our wedding, Michelle showed up early to scout the venue for the best spots and went above and beyond throughout the whole day for us and our friends/family. Her 2nd photographer was great as well. Our wedding pictures (all 1,209 of them) came out better than I ever expected. From the multiple angles she took of our special 'first look' pictures to the breathtaking portraits with the stunning Hudson River backdrop to the photos of all the decor/details I worked so hard on, she truly captured the essence of our wedding day. We will cherish her photos all our life, and can't thank her enough for documenting our 'best day ever' and giving us the most stunning pictures to remember it by.

Michelle!!!! She is the absolute best. I am ecstatic to have found a photographer that gets my style and vision for my wedding day and can make it look even better than I remember it in her photos! I feel confident in rating her 5 stars, and we haven't even received all of our wedding photos yet.
Michelle is by far our favorite vendor that we worked with in our entire wedding. We had 100% trust in her and knew we could rely on her for whatever we needed. She is quick with email and answers every question with detail. She is flexible in getting you what you want how you want it. Most importantly, her photos are extraordinarily gorgeous. We have gotten so many compliments from friends and family on the quality of the photos. They look like wedding magazine photos and she makes you look stunning! She captured all of our details and was patient with our families.
Our engagement photos are breathtaking, as are our preview photos from the wedding day. She is also lightning fast - we got preview photos the day after our wedding! We absolutely cannot wait to see the rest of the photos and have no doubt they will be absolutely amazing.
Michelle and her lovely photos are the BEST wedding investment we made. Plus, she is super sweet and organized! We are so happy. We recommend her wholeheartedly to anyone and everyone. Thank you Michelle, we love you!

This summer, we had the pleasure of working with Michelle Lange as our Wedding photographer and really can’t emphasize the word “pleasure” quite enough. Amid all the stress of planning a wedding – Michelle’s involvement actually provided a reassuring source of comfort throughout the entire process.
Upon our very first meeting, Michelle immediately understood our vision and tailored a wedding day schedule to match all of our needs, while still managing to keep things very loose/natural (so that our entire day wasn’t spent posing).
Ultimately, her work speaks for itself (which is incredible!), and although you may find plenty of extremely talented photographers out there, you would be hard pressed to find one who combines this level of talent with such a knack making sure you actually have something to smile about!
We can’t recommend her more highly!

Michelle did an absolutely incredible job with capturing our wedding day! From her professionalism, to her artistic creativity, I couldn't have asked for a better person to document our day. Michelle is a generous, charismatic and fun person to be around. She helped to alleviate the stress that the day had the potential to entail.
We received our pictures punctually, allowing adequate time to make thank you cards and to reminisce. I look at our pictures daily and it brings tears to my eyes because of how incredible they came out. The day goes by so quickly that it is easy to forget some of the highlights. The pictures however, are timeless and help to facilitate some of those lost memories.
I would highly recommend Michelle to anyone looking for a fantastic wedding photographer. She was the best wedding decision we made! Couldn't be happier!

I couldn't have asked for a better photographer. I searched long and hard for the perfect photographer, and I am so happy I came across Michelle's work. All throughout the wedding planning, she kept in constant communication, and was available for any help I needed. She wasn't just a photographer, she was a friend. On our wedding day, Michelle was so great! She had such great energy, and had all of us laughing! She made taking tons of photos very easy. Michelle is wonderful to work with! From our initial phone call to the delivery of our wedding pictures she was professional, fun, helpful, and a delight. We got to know her first at our engagement session. Leading up to that day the forecasts were grim and I was a bit nervous. Michelle calmed my fears, and convinced me that the rain was our friend. We had a fantastic day and our rainy pictures are more beautiful than anything I imagined. On our wedding day Michelle arrived early, was focused and got right into the mix. Our second photographer, Tina, spent the morning with the guys and captured some great shots of them getting ready. The greatest part about having Michelle as your photographer is that she is so talented; I completely trusted her vision and didn't worry that she would miss anything. And she didn't! The photographs we received captured the feeling of the day and all the wonderful moments that happened.

Finding the right photographer for your special day can be a challenge. There are many to choose from and all of them have different personalities and styles. My choice was easy, but not just because Michelle has been a lifelong friend of mine. I asked Michelle to be my photographer because I know how talented, hard working, and passionate she is! I agree with previous reviews that 5 stars is not enough! She truly deserves more!!!
Michelle genuinely loves getting to know her clients and their story. She loves what she does and she wants to be sure her clients will love it too. She loves the details and knows how to capture them so perfectly. Her photographs are simply stunning. Michelle also has a way of putting people at ease while she is photographing. This is such a big help on your big day! She is sure to make you laugh and will help you enjoy every minute.
One of the things I was extremely impressed with (already knowing how talented she was) was her ability to keep things on track and ahead of schedule! which before my wedding I thought was unheard of! She doesn't make you feel rushed, in fact you feel completely relaxed knowing that things are running on schedule. This is difficult to do but she does it so well! I have witnessed this not only at my own wedding but also a friends wedding that I was a part of where Michelle was also the photographer.
I can't say enough about Michelle. Any couple would be lucky to have her for their wedding. She is a wonderful, beautiful person with a seriously amazing talent for photography!

I would give her 100 stars if I could. Michelle is not only incredibly talented and warm, but her customer service is outstanding. We didn't have a videographer so it was really important that our photographs really captured the day. Michelle promised to get all the little details and special moments, and she truly deliveraed on that promise. I would recommend her to every bride I know, but especially anyone having DIY elements (that many people put their heart and souls into), or an outdoor wedding. I would also get the second photographer package, and the engagement shoot. Completely worth the investment--I would choose her again and again.

Michelle is the most professional, lovely and talented person we met while planning our wedding. From our first interactions with her over email with quick and prompt responses to all our questions, to the signing of the contract, which was then followed by her sending us the most beautiful bouquet! To our first meeting with her to discuss our ideas for the wedding that lead to a three-hour marathon of chatting where we wanted to pack her up and take her home with us and then to the actual day, we cannot possibly exaggerate her talent and delightful personality.
Thinking of Michelle on the actual day makes me a little teary, because I honestly could not be more grateful and thankful that she was there. She was cheery, professional, charming, and encouraging presence while you are going through this pretty overwhelming experience. She and her trusty day-of assistant Cassidy (http://www.cassidyparkersmith.com/) were so organized that they had us way ahead of schedule and we were able to spend more time with our families and friends! They even managed to organize a rowdy bunch of 60 Australian and Irish guests into a group photo in no time at all. We didn't do a first look, so all the family and wedding party photos had to be done after the ceremony and Michelle and Cassidy were so organized that they were done in record time and everyone was off happily making merry in about 15 minutes.
We had an outdoor ceremony and the winter this year was long so the venue did not look as green or lush as we had expected. I suspect that she has magical powers because all her photos brought out all the subtleties in the greens and blues of the gardens, the barren trees somehow look romantic and we don't look cold at all! Michelle Lange is worthy of more than 5 stars. I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to work with Michelle in the Spring of 2013. She is so sweet, professional, creative, punctual, organized, easy to work with and LOVES what she does. I'm not fond of being in front of the camera and was a little worried that would affect the outcome of our day but, with Michelle, I always felt at ease. Her bubbly personality makes it so easy to relax and just have fun. Our images look so natural and I know that wouldn't have been possible with any other photographer. All of our images are so beautiful! It brought me tears when I first looked through them. Knowing that I will be able to look back at these memories with someone I love is so special to me. I'm so thankful for Michelle and would HIGHLY recommend working with her. She is an amazing and rare talent. We always felt so well taken care of. One thing that really stands out to me is how fast Michelle provides a little teaser from your day. She always wants you to feel special and keep you excited about your time with her. Michelle not only does beautiful work, but she is also a kind and genuine person. It is clear that she loves what she does and takes a lot of pride in her work.
