hello hello! like many folks, we canceled our wedding because of COVID. Jay was super flexible as we figured out our plans. We wound up having a super small 10 person wedding in our local community garden (everyone masked etc.) and Jay came to photograph that! He is ultra organized and helped us keep us on schedule and reminded us of the shots we had wanted to take. My parents couldn't be there but they were on Facetime and Jay was so great about trying to get them in the shots whenever possible. Also Jay was very safe! Masked the whole time and everything so if you are nervous about that don't be! The pictures turned out great and he really captured how DARN HAPPY we were to finally get married!!! Also he is very nice and friendly! And totally willing to go with the flow. I randomly asked him to take a picture of us with my avocado plants and Jay DID NOT BAT AN EYE. He was all "sure! stand here so you guys have better lighting etc." HIRE JAY! he is so nice and kind and will take nice pictures of you.

We cannot say enough good things about Jay. He photographed our January wedding and was a complete professional while keeping things fun and light. He was extremely helpful with directing us as well as helping create and adhere to the day-of schedule. He was very flexible with all of the requests we made (some a little unusual) and helped us get every shot we wanted. Everything went so smoothly in large part due to Jay’s preparedness and skill. He worked well with the whole wedding team and my whole family and wedding party had positive things to say about Jay. We just got our sneak peak photos (very quickly!) and we are absolutely over the moon. We’ve never had the privilege of having such beautiful photos of us together, between the engagement photos he took and the actual wedding photos. He was also an absolute delight to have around. We cannot recommend Jay enough.

We could not have been happier with Jay as our photographer. From our first meeting, to the engagement shoot, to the wedding day, he was on top of everything and so pleasant to work with. He got our photos back to us quicker than promised and they were beautiful. Jay is a professional, makes the whole experience fun and easy, and worked incredible well with guests and our families.

Not trying to get him to raise his prices, haha, but Jay truly gave us the whole package above and beyond what's listed on his website. He not only helps you feel comfortable in front of the camera and gives you amazing photos, but also was incredibly helpful to me in brainstorming ideas and coming up with a timeline for the day of my wedding. He was also really great about prioritizing and adjusting for us as my husband HATES taking photos. Couldn't recommend him enough

Jay was great from the start! He was super responsive and flexible when it came to planning calls and answering any questions. We were nervous about professional photos since this was our first time and we thought it would be awkward, but our engagement session went really well and we felt so at ease! We got those back super quick and loved them, I love that it was included in our package. Our wedding was absolutely phenomenal. The compliments from my bridal party and attendees for how awesome Jay was are still coming in. Everything was so efficient, and enjoyable. We were able to enjoy cocktail hour after family photos which was important to me! We got our photos back and they are nothing short of amazing. We cannot recommend him enough!!!

Working with Jay was a pleasure. He was always professional and made us feel at ease and relaxed when taking pictures for our save the dates/wedding. Jay delivers quality work in a timely fashion. Would highly recommend his services!

I got married November 2024, but my photography journey started with Jay right after I got engaged on March 2023. I have been following Jay for sometime and always knew we would choose him for our wedding photography. When meeting with vendors we me with the one suggested by our venue and then Jay, the professionalism and personality with so different we knew exactly who to choose. Before we even got off the phone with Jay we were brainstorming ideas for both our engagement shoot and our wedding day! I love that Jay is very transparent about his starting prices on his website which is really helpful when looking for a vendor!
Engagement shoot: we decided to do the shoot near my house in upstate New York, Jay had no issue traveling to the destination and had so many suggestions on where to go and what to do, we settled on our favorite brewery, my house, and a covered bridge nearby. When we heard it was going to rain the day of our photos he was flexible and suggested we change the date to the day before when he was also free. The photos turned out perfect! It was a nice cloudy day and we had so much fun! The sneak peaks were delivered shortly after with some fun GIFs! The entire photoshoot was delivered with enough time to comb through every photo to choose for our save the dates and add amazing photos of us to our wall!

Leading up to the wedding: Jay was great at communicating, creating a timeline, and listening to a few crazy ideas. It felt freeing to know that I didn’t need to worry about what photos I might get as he asked for a list of family members that I needed photos with.

The wedding day: Jay chose a perfect second photographer for the day who matched his style and added a little pizzaz to the day as the second photographer followed my husband’s morning. It was so nice seeing these photos which aren’t always part of wedding day prep. Both Jay and the second photographer showed up on time and ready to go! Flat lay photos were created with care with everything provided. Jay even helped handle my emotions, including a little wedding drama. He was professional and made sure I was ready and happy throughout the day. After a circumstance that forced me to be late and ruin the timeline Jay was patient and we worked it out. I was still able to get my first look and family photos all before the ceremony. There was even time for me to see the reception hall and have a quiet moment with my husband before I walked down the aisle. I had a crazy ask to get a portrait or photo of every one of my guests and he delivered! I was able to print these photos and send at least one to my guests along with their thank yous!

Pictures- you can tell Jay puts so much emotion and love into the craft. Throughout the day he shared in the joy, love and emotions. While I was dancing with my mom I saw the glimmer in his face behind the camera, his feelings made for amazing photos and I thank him so much for it. After the wedding it was like he was a magician. He delivered sneak peaks when we were returning from our honeymoon and our full gallery a few weeks after. EVERY PHOTO WAS GORGEOUS! So many people were shocked at the amount of photos we received and asked “but how many are good photos” the shock in their faces when we told them that all of them were good was so satisfying. The photos were that amazing that I have about 900 of them in my wedding album(I’m not kidding)

All in all the entire process was great! And I can’t wait to have another special occasion that requires his skills!

Jay is the absolute dream photographer. From the beginning he was wonderful to work with, getting to know us at our engagement session. He worked with a not-picture friendly groom who, by the end of the day, was totally comfortable with photography because of Jay’s comforting and fun disposition. Jay won the hearts of every single one of our guests. His communication was impeccable and coordinated with all vendors so the day ran smooth. Jay’s experience is evident in his pre-wedding planning as well as day-of professionalism. And finally- THE PHOTOS. They speak for themselves, his style and eye are perfect. I couldn’t have asked for more! Our photos were delivered by our month wedding anniversary which was quick and smooth! Thank you Jay!

Jay was simply amazing to work with. I had no idea where to start on a timeline for my wedding day and Jay made it so easy– he mapped out our day for us perfectly. He was so easy to work with, great to communicate with, comforting and laid-back while remaining professional and organized. He was very knowledgeable and offered great advice for two awkward folks like me and my husband. All of my wedding guests LOVED him and said it was like they knew him all their lives, I couldn't agree more! Jay was respectful to everyone and just made everyone feel so great. My photos look so dreamy and I'm constantly getting compliments on them; he truly made me and my partner feel so beautiful and special. I highly recommend Jay to help make your wedding day even more special and memorable.

We can’t recommend Jay enough. We’re not usually a very photogenic couple, but the pictures turned out so beautiful. He captured all the emotions and moments perfectly. He’s very knowledgeable, experienced, and passionate about his work. He responded very quickly to our emails. He was so easy to work with, and super flexible. (I don't know how many times we had to change plans, but he was so accommodating.) It was raining all week before our wedding day, and although we’re grateful it turned out to be sunny, we have no doubts Jay would have done everything he could to get those beautiful shots. Those teaser pics came out so beautiful, we couldn’t wait for the whole thing, so it was a great surprise that it came earlier than expected. 1000000000 stars.
