Wedding Photography in Albany

Paul did an amazing job on our wedding, I truly cannot understate how much joy he brought to our already joyful day. He was extremely prompt with all planning information, and on the day, he had an amazing gift for getting people to smile and laugh naturally. If you're looking for candid photos of joy, dancing, and love - Paul is the right photographer for you. He listened to all of our requests for photo locations, and worked extremely quickly. He also offered a helping hand to anyone who needed it day of. We got about 1600 photos back from Paul and they span getting ready through our first set of our band. Truly everything we wanted and more - and the pricing felt reasonable and accessible to a couple trying to be budget minded. Delivery of photos took about 3 months, and Paul gave a very accurate timeline post wedding, so we knew when they'd arrive. Just overall a 10/10 experience.

We are so grateful to have found Bogardus Photography for our wedding! We really wanted to be able to be present, be happy and enjoy our wedding day. Nathan seemed to understand that from the minute we met him. He’s very kind and was very helpful and organized throughout the planning process. His passion for what he does is evident in every conversation! We had Julio as our wedding day photographer and he was phenomenal as well! He kept things laid back and most importantly, got some truly beautiful photos that I didn’t think were possible! So many people told us that the day would go by in a blink of an eye. But both of us feel like we were able to relax, be ourselves and enjoy the day! We love reliving the day through the photos! You captured the day perfectly! Nicole is so accommodating from the first moment you get to meet! When you hire her to photograph your wedding, you're not only hiring an amazing photographer, you're gaining a friend. She goes above and beyond to make sure the day runs smoothly; from her bag which includes so many important things you may forget, to helping to make sure everyone is sticking to the timeline. Her suggestions for the day-of timeline saved us so much headache! She makes sure that your day happens just as you envisioned it. Hiring Nicole was the best choice we made. She made us feel so special and I will recommend her to everyone we know!

Crystal was my first vendor hire when I started to plan my wedding. Her photography encapsulates everything I wanted my wedding to be: raw, un-doctored, romantic and soft. Throughout the planning process Crystal was responsive and attentive to all my (sometimes outlandish) questions. We built a connection through my visits that I hope will last a lifetime. The day of the wedding Crystal orchestrated everything. Because she was there I knew nothing would be missed and everything would move along in a timely manner. She really took charge, and trust me every bride needs someone that will do that! Her ability to direct allowed me the ability to enjoy every second of my day - I didn't have to think at all. And then came the photos. I got married on 10/7/2017, and we had all of our edited photos by 11/3/2017. Which is crazy fast, in case you didn't know. Each one of them was flawless, and I still haven't been able to decide which ones to print because they're all too perfect! I cannot wait to continue to use Crystal's services for our babies when they arrive!

Tara is fantastic! She photographed our wedding on October 17, 2015 and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. She is always professional and it helps that she is also hilarious, which lightens the mood perfectly. She didn't bat an eye when it snowed for our outdoor reception, and had incredible vision for each of the shots she took for us. We would recommend her to anyone and feel truly blessed to have found her.

Jessica Painter is your best friend in wedding photographer form. Truly. I don’t know another way to put it! She is truly amazing and worth every penny and more! Everything felt SO comfortable and natural- from the engagement shoot to our dinner meet up before the wedding and all leading up to the big day! She felt like a friend with a camera! We connected immediately via email when I was searching for a photographer and it only intensified at our e-shoot. This was important to me, since your photographer is typically there for ALL moments throughout your special day, big and small, intimate and communal. The relationship she built with us no doubt played a roll in the day’s success! Not only that, but she helped us develop a timeline that was custom to our wants, but also efficient and extensive to cover all of the details we wanted recorded. She pays close attention to detail, as well as gets to know you personally as well as what you want captured and how you want it captured. I cannot say enough good things about her. If you book her, you will NOT be disappointed. I haven’t even gotten my wedding photos back yet, but I know if they’re going to be anything like my e-shoot photos, they’re going to be out of this world! I truly don’t even know how to begin this review, we look at our wedding photos and we’re speechless, they truly capture how magical our day was. As an LGBTQ+ couple, we never thought about how truly difficult it could be to find inclusive vendors until the time came, and boy, were we surprised. Reaching out to photographers to awkwardly ask, “Hey do you shoot LGBTQ+ couples?” and getting told no or “I’m open to it” was just not what we had planned. It’s your wedding day, you want someone who would proudly scream from the mountains that you’re getting married and celebrate your love…enter Stephanie. After reaching out to dozens of photographers, Tiny House Photos came up and our hearts melted; she was who we had been searching for. We wanted to use our wedding to highlight small, women-owned, LGBTQ+-owned, veteran-owned, and Latina-owned businesses and Stephanie ticked multiple of those boxes for us. We messaged her and set up a Zoom call a couple days later. During our Zoom call it felt as if we’d known each other for years, just some friends having a conversation about a wedding. Shortly after the call finished we knew that she was our photographer and signed our contract. As a gift, Stephanie did an engagement shoot with us so that we could interact with her and get a sense for how it would be the day of our wedding- it was perfect. We rode to our lighthouse and shot there for sunrise, grabbed a coffee together, and then headed home so we could take shots with our 5 dogs and 2 cats. Stephanie happily came to our venue walk-through the day before our wedding, even waited for us after Ash’s hair appt went over (we were 30 minutes late- still feel really badly about that Steph!) and we’re so thankful she did! She gave us the proper cadence to walk for photos at the ceremony, ideas for photos down the aisle once we said “I Do”, and just rocked it. On our wedding day, even though we knew she was there, Stephanie was ninja-esque fading out of one getting ready space into another- getting shots we had absolutely no idea were being taken but looking back on we love SO much. We also appreciated that she interacted with us and had normal conversations with our friends and family as we got ready, that helped put them at ease and we’ve gotten such great feedback from everyone about her. There aren’t enough words to properly express our gratitude for all our vendors, but we’re so thankful we found Stephanie- our wedding wouldn’t have been as incredible as it was without her. If you are considering her to be your photographer for a wedding, engagement, branding, or lifestyle session- don’t put it off any longer, you’ve found the perfect person and you won’t regret it.

We couldn’t be happier with the photography that Ahmed did on our wedding day. He was kind, friendly, and made us feel relaxed straight away. The photos are absolutely beautiful! All of our family and friends at the wedding commented on how great he was, and we have already passed on his details to other friends and family. Ahmed clearly has a huge passion for photography, which made the day even more special for us. If we need a photographer in the area in future, we will 100% use Numidia Photography again!

We couldn’t be happier that we chose Ken as our wedding photographer! From day one, he was responsive, professional, and genuinely invested in making sure we got exactly what we wanted. Ken made the entire experience feel effortless. He followed our planning form, took inspiration from our Pinterest board, and made sure we got every single shot that was important to us. He was so organized and calm, and made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera (which is saying a lot!). On the day of the wedding, he worked seamlessly with everyone and captured the most beautiful mix of portraits, candid moments, and all the little in-between memories that made the day so special. His eye for detail and timing is incredible, and the final gallery is everything we hoped for and more. Ken truly went above and beyond, and we’re so grateful for his talent, kindness, and professionalism. We’ll cherish these photos for a lifetime.
