Chris & Jen Sawicki of Sawicki Studios are husband & wife contemporary wedding photographers in the Albany, NY and Saratoga NY area servicing the entire Upstate NY Capital Region and beyond since 2007!

Sawicki Studios use their signature stylized flare sparingly to sprinkle in a little magic into their client's images while remaining authentic to them and their day- which is a mix of candid photojournalism (documentary style) with a good helping of fine art. Their goal is to simply be visual storytellers through their artistic vision with quality and expertise. With 19 years of experience, Chris and Jen have worked in almost every condition, and are well-versed in how to deal with them all.

They are also very laid-back and are always calm & collected, which helps couples feel comfortable throughout the day and through every interaction. During formal photos, which they only spend a limited amount of time on unless otherwise necessary or desired by the couple, they aim only to guide you as naturally as possible, so nothing ever feels (or looks!) forced or stiff. They provide guidance but are never obtrusive, aiming only to enhance the experience of your day in a positive way!

Experience
Jen started as a children's portrait photographer in 2006 after two years of education and hands-on learning, and began photographing weddings in 2007. Jen has always focused on being the quiet observer who captures the natural moments, expressions and details of the day. Around that time Chris began as a Photoshop editor, but with his ability to experiment and achieve proficiency in photography, lighting, and editing, he quickly became a masterful photographer. His skills in post-processing can take the images to the next level.
