Lana Ortiz did an outstanding job with our wedding. One of my groomsmen who is a professional photographer as well was really impressed with her work. She also helped us get in touch with other people like the DJ and the makeup artist and we couldn't have been happier.

We used Lana for our engagement session, and I also did a boudoir photo session with her for a wedding gift. I honestly can not say enough good things about Lana. Not only is she a total sweetheart, but she is beyond talented! She took the time to get to know me and my husband, and helped us achieve the look we wanted with no hesitation. Lana is so laid back, and has a way to make you feel beyond comfortable in front of the camera, especially for the boudoir. Her images show that she has a true eye for photography and every single photo she took blew us away. It was an absolute pleasure working with her, and we will cherish the pictures she took forever!

My now husband and I were looking for a photographer who could capture the truly vivacious and entertaining nature of our wedding day, while honoring the beauty of the historic site we choose to get married in. Lana made it clear at our initial meeting that she would be dressed as professionally and would interact with our guests throughout the event as we outlined. However, we basically considered our wedding as a huge party, so professional dress and aloof behavior were neither required nor encouraged. In fact, we asked her to get in on all action that was happening with our guests so we could capture the moments we weren’t personally there to experience; we couldn’t have been happier with the results.

Lana has the unique ability to make her subjects feel at ease while they are being photographed. She provided the perfect balance of personal initiative and responsiveness to our wishes. Instead of just coming in and taking over our wedding with a pre-set shot list, she asked us to search for examples of the types of shots we would want to have. However, when I personally lost my head (surprising considering I was getting married) and couldn’t think of what to do next, she was more than willing to take the lead so I could just relax and enjoy the moment. Most importantly, regardless of the situation, she has a sharp eye for capturing the most flattering poses, especially for women! I can honestly say, I have never looked so good in a photograph before. It was truly an honor and a joy to work with Lana, and I will continue to do so in the future!
