DJ Lee Waddell Musical Host Services

DJ Lee came highly recommended by a family member who worked as a bridal captain for 20 years, so I knew we were in great hands. He set up 3 separate sound systems for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception so the music was perfect at every part of the day. Guests especially loved that he also played the piano during cocktail hour, which added such a special touch.

He kept the energy up throughout the night, the dance floor was full all night long, and he did an excellent job handling all the formalities and transitions.

From start to finish, Lee was great with communication and professionalism. He was able to set up microphones and speakers all throughout our venue (3 separate locations) to make announcements and play music throughout the ceremony, dinner, and dance floor. He did great announcing what we asked for, and kept the timeline of our night on par! We loved the uplighting option and the speakers sounded so great, the dance floor was popping all night! We would definitely recommended him as the DJ for your special day!

We rented a sound system (without a DJ, we used our own playlist from an iPhone) for our wedding in Medusa New York, and Lee was so responsive, flexible, and helpful throughout the process. He helped us understand what the sound system would include and how to use the equipment, thought through set-up logistics with us, and helped us with some problem-solving when he dropped off the equipment and our set-up plan had to shift due to rain. Great value and a perfect way to do audio for our low-key wedding ceremony and reception!

From the start, we wanted our wedding to capture who we are, not overly serious, not bound by tradition, just a night filled with fun and unforgettable memories. We only get so much time before the inevitable, so why not make the most of it? Our goal was simple: get people dancing. DJ Waddell made that happen and then some.
Our ceremony set the tone, groomsmen walking down to For Whom the Bell Tolls before a sudden Rickroll, personalized songs for family and bridal party intros, and a first dance that transitioned into a mashup of Closer by Ne-Yo and Can’t Help Falling in Love by Elvis. It could have been chaotic, but Lee made it seamless. He read the room, kept the energy high, and somehow got every generation on the dance floor.
Leading up to the wedding, my fiancée (now wife) and I procrastinated hard (her more than me), but Lee had us covered. He walked us through every detail, making sure we never had to stress about what was next. A great DJ doesn’t just play music, they make sure the whole night flows. From pacing the reception to nailing the intros and keeping transitions smooth, Lee made sure we could actually be in the moment. He even learned every name on our long intro list and came up with ideas that were a massive hit (ask him about the shoe game).
And beyond all that, Lee is just good people. Easy to talk to, fun to plan with, and genuinely invested in making the night incredible. If you want a DJ who actually makes the party happen, it’s him, we even managed to get him on the dance floor.

It was a pleasure working with Lee. He did an amazing job and we really enjoyed all the music. He made sure the day ran smoothly and made it such a wonderful time for both Aaron and I and our guests.

Lee was extremely easy to work with throughout our entire wedding process! He played the piano, as well as DJ’d during our wedding, and we have nothing but great things to say. Lee was the perfect DJ to make our wedding feel special. He had a lot of information to help us decide how we wanted to personalize our wedding and make it special. He went the extra mile and played live piano during our wedding ceremony & kept people on the dance floor all night from behind the DJ booth. He made our wedding extra special and we can't thank him enough.

Lee was nothing short of fantastic to work with. We hired him to officiate our ceremony and DJ for our reception, he excelled at both! Lee provides reasonable packages based on what you need and is super responsive if you have any questions or concerns throughout the process. The ceremony felt special and personalized but not cheesy! We had a substantial list of must-play and do-not-play songs, and Lee was so gracious in helping us craft a fun playlist that was true to us. He is an excellent MC and kept our guests on the dance floor the entire night! We had a great experience with Lee and cannot recommend him enough.

We had Lee DJ our wedding on September 16th, and he did an OUTSTANDING job! Lee was recommended by our photographer, Paul Saunders, and we decided on him after learning that he could play keyboard live during our ceremony - which he did an amazing job of! We had a meeting at his home office a few weeks before the wedding to go over the schedule of the day and our song requests. Lee was super helpful in the planning process, and was a phenomenal MC, moving our wedding along smoothly and providing the best entertainment we could imagine! Our guests danced the night away and continue to talk about how great of a DJ he is! We would HIGHLY recommend Lee for your wedding ceremony and reception music/entertainment.

I really wanted Lee for our wedding but he was already booked. He actually took the time to ask some trusted DJs he knows in the area if they were available and called me back several days later to let me know one was open and gave me their contact info. Just who does that!?! He is super sweet, and clearly goes above and beyond in all he does! Wedding planning is stressful and to have someone take time out to do that just made my day!!! Thanks Lee! :)
