Thank you, DJ Lee!

DJ Lee came highly recommended by a family member who worked as a bridal captain for 20 years, so I knew we were in great hands. He set up 3 separate sound systems for our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception so the music was perfect at every part of the day. Guests especially loved that he also played the piano during cocktail hour, which added such a special touch.

He kept the energy up throughout the night, the dance floor was full all night long, and he did an excellent job handling all the formalities and transitions.

From start to finish, Lee was great with communication and professionalism. He was able to set up microphones and speakers all throughout our venue (3 separate locations) to make announcements and play music throughout the ceremony, dinner, and dance floor. He did great announcing what we asked for, and kept the timeline of our night on par! We loved the uplighting option and the speakers sounded so great, the dance floor was popping all night! We would definitely recommended him as the DJ for your special day!

high quality, affordable, and great to work with for sound system rental

We rented a sound system (without a DJ, we used our own playlist from an iPhone) for our wedding in Medusa New York, and Lee was so responsive, flexible, and helpful throughout the process. He helped us understand what the sound system would include and how to use the equipment, thought through set-up logistics with us, and helped us with some problem-solving when he dropped off the equipment and our set-up plan had to shift due to rain. Great value and a perfect way to do audio for our low-key wedding ceremony and reception!

More Than a DJ—The Life of the Party

From the start, we wanted our wedding to capture who we are, not overly serious, not bound by tradition, just a night filled with fun and unforgettable memories. We only get so much time before the inevitable, so why not make the most of it? Our goal was simple: get people dancing. DJ Waddell made that happen and then some.
Our ceremony set the tone, groomsmen walking down to For Whom the Bell Tolls before a sudden Rickroll, personalized songs for family and bridal party intros, and a first dance that transitioned into a mashup of Closer by Ne-Yo and Can’t Help Falling in Love by Elvis. It could have been chaotic, but Lee made it seamless. He read the room, kept the energy high, and somehow got every generation on the dance floor.
Leading up to the wedding, my fiancée (now wife) and I procrastinated hard (her more than me), but Lee had us covered. He walked us through every detail, making sure we never had to stress about what was next. A great DJ doesn’t just play music, they make sure the whole night flows. From pacing the reception to nailing the intros and keeping transitions smooth, Lee made sure we could actually be in the moment. He even learned every name on our long intro list and came up with ideas that were a massive hit (ask him about the shoe game).
And beyond all that, Lee is just good people. Easy to talk to, fun to plan with, and genuinely invested in making the night incredible. If you want a DJ who actually makes the party happen, it’s him, we even managed to get him on the dance floor.

Great Wedding DJ

Lee was the perfect DJ to make our wedding feel special. He had a lot of information to help us decide how we wanted to personalize our wedding and make it special. Danced the night away!

Lee was nothing short of fantastic to work with. We hired him to officiate our ceremony and DJ for our reception, he excelled at both! Lee provides reasonable packages based on what you need and is super responsive if you have any questions or concerns throughout the process. The ceremony felt special and personalized but not cheesy! We had a substantial list of must-play and do-not-play songs, and Lee was so gracious in helping us craft a fun playlist that was true to us. He is an excellent MC and kept our guests on the dance floor the entire night! We had a great experience with Lee and cannot recommend him enough.

The Best Wedding DJ in the Capital Region!

We had Lee DJ our wedding on September 16th, and he did an OUTSTANDING job! Lee was recommended by our photographer, Paul Saunders, and we decided on him after learning that he could play keyboard live during our ceremony - which he did an amazing job of! We had a meeting at his home office a few weeks before the wedding to go over the schedule of the day and our song requests. Lee was super helpful in the planning process, and was a phenomenal MC, moving our wedding along smoothly and providing the best entertainment we could imagine! Our guests danced the night away and continue to talk about how great of a DJ he is! We would HIGHLY recommend Lee for your wedding ceremony and reception music/entertainment.

Lee is amazing!

I really wanted Lee for our wedding but he was already booked. He actually took the time to ask some trusted DJs he knows in the area if they were available and called me back several days later to let me know one was open and gave me their contact info. Just who does that!?! He is super sweet, and clearly goes above and beyond in all he does! Wedding planning is stressful and to have someone take time out to do that just made my day!!! Highly recommend!

We selected DJ Lee Waddell based on his excellent Wedding Wire reviews. Even after reading such stellar reviews, Lee exceeded our expectations at our wedding reception! He was the perfect emcee in that he kept people engaged (and dancing) without being cheesy or stealing the show. Before our reception, we talked with Lee on the phone a couple of times to go over the order of events and special dances and the night went seamlessly just based on those short conversations. Beforehand we gave him a short list of 'must play' songs and based on our recommendations he played a lot of other songs that night that we also love. He even accommodated a last minute request for a mother-son dance. So many of our guests came up to us during and after the reception to say how much they enjoyed the DJ. Lee really gave our reception a fun atmosphere that we'll remember and cherish for many years to come.

DJ Lee was such an incredible guy to work with from day 1! He was responsive, helpful and easy to talk to. He truly made the planning experience easier! Amazing fusion wedding

We hired Lee to DJ our fairly large 200 person wedding. I'm Indian and my husband is American, so it was a fusion wedding, mixing our two cultures. Of course that meant that Lee had to keep both sides of the family on the dance floor, and he did this without any hiccups! Lee had done a couple of Indian events before, but I helped him out with some Bollywood music playlists beforehand. He worked with our schedule and did zoom/phone meetings as we were not local to the area. He was so flexible and accommodated all our requests and even last minute changes to schedule etc.
All night long during our reception, nobody wanted to get off the dance floor! It's been two months since our wedding, and our guests are still telling us what an incredible time they had, and how awesome our DJ was.
I would recommend DJ Lee to anybody looking for someone for an event!

The best dj

We lost our original DJ when we postponed our wedding day due to a scheduling conflict but are so thankful that he recommended DJ Lee to take over! He was so responsive to both us and my mother-in-law, who had a surprise for my husband for their dance. The dance floor was never empty. He got exactly what kind of mix of music we were going for and crushed it. Everyone the next day kept telling us how great he was. My husband and I can’t speak highly enough about his services. Do yourself a favor and hire him for your wedding!

DJ Lee Waddell is the best!

I would highly recommend DJ Lee Waddell to anyone planning an upcoming wedding. Lee was the DJ for my sister's wedding back in 2011 and we knew he would be perfect for our wedding as well. He was organized, professional, and very responsive during the planning process. He created a wonderful mix of music at our reception that was a combination of our "must plays" with his own choices based on his great ability to read the room. Our guests were dancing all night long. We also had Lee play live piano during dinner and he did such a wonderful job. We highly recommend Lee!

So unique!

We were married August 2021 in Schenectady. I now consider Lee a good friend of mine. He was flexible rescheduling our wedding due to the pandemic. His piano skills are phenomenal. We even had a guest get up and sing during dinner while Lee played the piano which was unexpected. Lee was able to play a song for the guest to sing to. When my husband forgot the steps to the cotton eye joe Lee helped lead the dance by getting on the floor and dancing along. His MC skills made everyone smile and laugh even when I threw the bouquet and it hit the ceiling.

Lee kept the party going all night long!

Lee was amazing to work with from the very beginning. Family friendly party until the very end!

DJ Lee was AWESOME!
Our wedding was at Hunter Mountain and he handled everything from our ceremony, to the cocktail hour, and the reception which had an active dance floor to the very end!

DJ Lee was very clear from the beginning on what we should expect, that was super important. He told us we wouldn't hear from him until about a month before, he would send us paperwork to prepare ideas of the music we wanted for the ceremony and reception. He said he would talk to us and go over everything we submitted about two weeks before, and we would then confirm everything again the day of in case we had any changes we wanted to make. That right there says just how dependable, experienced, and flexible he is.

After our phone consult we were very confident in DJ Lee. He had all of our music that we wanted and everything was lined up perfectly. The day of, our music for the ceremony was spot on, and of excellent quality! Especially for being on top of a mountain.

For the cocktail hour & reception we wanted it to be family friendly, and we listen to country (not pop country), which he accommodated and mixed in "oldies" hits, buffalo area favorites, and some early 2000's pop throw backs (super fun!). He took requests and played music that absolutely everyone enjoyed. My grandparents even stayed at our reception to the very end because they were enjoying the mix that DJ Lee was playing.

We had a full dance floor the entire night. My husband, who I have never actually gotten on a dance floor before, was out there dancing with me and our friends and family. That was something that I NEVER thought would happen. DJ Lee worked a miracle there.

He did an awesome job of spreading out all of the fun "events" during a reception. Our first dance was right when we entered for the reception, we enjoyed dinner and a little bit of dancing before the parent dances, then we enjoyed more dances and a few drinks before doing the bouquet & garter tosses. Even during our cake cutting (which was small because we had a sundae bar for our guests) he was commentating and made that so much, even instigated a little frosting fun!

His personality is awesome, he is attentive, and he is a pro at what he does. He pays attention to the details and gives your wedding the party it deserves!

We cannot thank DJ Lee enough for how awesome he was!!

Bring the dance party!

Not only did DJ Lee keep the party going and people up on their feet, but he was a real pleasure to work with. We met Lee a few months prior to our wedding and from the get-go he was really interested in making sure our expectations for our day were met. We had planned to show a video, and Lee helped us get that up and running at our venue (after some panic about the audio not working!) He played a really nice mix of songs and worked off a list we gave him. People were up and dancing for a good part of the day (including Grandma and Grandpa)! Once my husband and I started, we didn’t really stop! Thanks to Lee, we really had an amazing day. We would definitely recommend DJ Lee.

This is way over due! Lee was the DJ for our wedding reception in September 2016. But he was so much more than that. He did the up lighting (custom color for no extra $), he played the piano for our ceremony and cocktail hour. He was amazing! He listen to what we wanted played and did NOT want played. He learned how to play "our song" on the piano. He had no problem staying at our reception an extra hour. He had international music for our friends from over seas and took requests from our guests. Lee was awesome! We booked his service about a year out and he was so helpful! We live out of town so we mainly emailed back and forth after an initial phone call to “meet”. We met with him in person the week of the wedding to finalize basically everything and he took lots of notes and was very prepared. He was very welcoming when we sat with him and we knew we chose the right guy! Day of he was the best! We had a few little hiccups which he dealt with very professionally and we had to make some timeline changes that he was super flexible. Our guests enjoyed the variety of music he played and he got every song we requested ahead of time in! We were so happy with our decision to have Lee DJ our wedding :)

Lee Waddell was the DJ at our daughter's wedding on June 10, 2017. Lee was great at keeping us on track for all the special moments the bride and groom needed to incorporate, He was a great announcer and responsive to requests, and was excellent at reading the crowd to sustain the energy on the dance floor.
Lee is down to earth and very easy to talk to, and as soon as our daughter and now son-in-in-law had their first phone conversation with him, they knew immediately Lee was the one for them!

Lee was awesome. My husband and myself called him at the last minute to book his services. He was very accommodating. He was set up on time and even stayed later than planned for a very reasonable low cost. I was truly amazed with his service. He had the music we wanted him to play, and even listened when we asked him not to play certain music for some teenagers. He was able to keep up with all our demands which were I'm sure a bit crazy. He was very personable as well which I loved. Nothing like having a vendor that you feel completely comfortable having on your most important day. When first meeting with him he invited us to his home and made us feel very welcome. He provided us with advice as needed and was very professional. Of course the music during our wedding reception was wonderful. We forgot to make a list of what type of music we wanted but as we made requests during the reception he was able to provide. I would highly recommend Lee Waddell for the music for your wedding.

We were refereed to Lee by friends who also had him DJ their wedding, which was great as well.
Lee was absolutely amazing! We were so happy that he was able to DJ our wedding. Of course it couldn't just be an easy one location wedding, Lee was so accommodating that he was able to bring equipment to the top of Jiminy Peak for the ceremony, and if that wasn't enough we also had some weather to deal with! Lee was fantastic throughout the entire wedding ceremony and found the exact versions of the songs I had envisioned. The reception was phenomenal, we were pretty vague in what music we wanted played, but Lee knew exactly what to play and had the everyone on the dance floor all night!
We would HIGHLY recommend Lee's services to anyone looking for a great DJ who will really listen and understand what you're looking for!

Lee is the best!! He was very flexible and helpful in the beginning stages, which was especially great since we were planning our wedding from out of state. When we did meet with him about 1 month before the wedding, I was definitely feeling the stress from planning but Lee completely put me at ease. He really cares about making his clients happy and does everything he can to make sure that happens. We only gave him a few ideas on music we liked/disliked, and he completely "got" us; the song selections for both the cocktail hour and reception were absolutely perfect! If you go with Lee, you will NOT be disappointed!

We were married in June at Belhurst Castle in Geneva NY. This location was several hours from Lee but he was very excited and wiling to make the trip up for our big day. During the planning process Lee kept in touch throughout the entire thing and had everything absolutely perfect and setup to make our stress/ stress free! We did our meetings over the phone due to the distance between us and you could tell within moments this was not his first event. He brought up questions that I had not even thought of and set us up for the entire night. We had him do the piano playing through dinner time which was so wonderful and peaceful. I would recommend him for any even as he was dressed to the T and very outgoing, polite, and very well spoken. If having a wedding opt for his entire services including the piano service. YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!

Lee Waddell not only was the DJ at my wedding but also my sisters! My sister wedding is where it all started! Lee knows how to get the party started and keep it going!
I looked at maybe one other DJ and Lee had to be it! I met Lee almost one year before our wedding because I needed a special favor from him! I wanted to do a cool memorable dance with my dad! I asked Lee not knowing what I was getting myself into,to make a mix tape. I had him first use "stealing Cinderella" then a threw about 10 various dance songs. Well then we starting going to our dance lessons and the teacher suggested that it was to many songs for my dad to be busting a move! So after Lee worked so hard on the first mix tape at my request,I had to ask him to redo it! He did it happily and made it work and let me tell you,that's one of the talks of our wedding oh and that everyone's feet hurt cause everyone was dancing all night!!
Lee also has cool up lighting and light signs(if that's what you call it lol) so we had a names on the wall for the first time!! It was such a cool touch and the up lighting made the pictures and ambience look great!!
Bottom lie Lee Wadell is a great DJ and will always be #1 in my book and will recommend him to anyone !!

One of the best parts of our wedding was working with Lee. He is an amazing find, a phenomenal Dj and all around nice guy. He was very patient and helpful in the planning stage and directed us on some music choices we couldn't decide. Our music was perfect from beginning to end and he has an uncanny knack for reading the crowd and getting them involved. Several of our guests complimented how great he was. The best of the best. From the first conversation with Lee, I was impressed. He talked both to me and my fiance separately to go over all of our questions. He even spent time meeting with me in person when I was in town. It's clear Lee really cares about what he does and making the most of your special day. He was so attentive and several of our guests commented on how great he was. He read the crowd well and played lots of our favorite songs. He even was able to quickly respond to a last minute "Hora" request which everyone loved. After the wedding he even stayed to do karaoke. I would highly recommend these services as well from Lee. Lee was phenomenal!!!!! We and our guests had so much fun at our wedding!!! It really was the best day ever, and Lee was a pretty big part of that. He complimented the order of events at all the right parts, playing piano beautifully to lead the bridal party into the ceremony, playing all of our choices for the cocktail hour, and then setting the whole tone of the reception~ he had us all dancing right away and on into the night!!! We closed the place down. Every one of our guests talked about how much fun the wedding was. He fit all of the details we wanted into the reception and he did so in a way that helped make it fun and more natural, not forced or stiff. What can I say about Lee Waddell, other than amazing!!! I had such a tough time finding a DJ that fit our style, but when Lee welcomed us into his home we knew by the end that we found our DJ! I booked Lee almost 2 years out from the time our wedding was going to take place, and throughout the months I would come up with random obscure questions. Lee was fantastic at getting back to me within the day most times even though our event was still months away. Two weeks before the wedding we met with Lee again to go over all the small details and to find the perfect songs for specific dances. We were having trouble pin pointing a few songs and Lee within minutes was able to find a song that suit both of our personalities. The day of the event Lee played a piano during cocktail hour which was a huge hit with all of my guest, it was so elegant and perfect for the mingling portion of the night. On into the reception portion of the evening Lee was able to keep track of the time and maintained a perfect pace from one dance into another, along with dinner and cake cutting activities. I never once had to worry about when something was going to happen, cause Lee was already on top of it, he communicated with other vendors in ensuring everything went smoothly. We ended our evening with a Christmas song as the holiday season was just around the corner and my guest has such a ball with this concept along with all of the amazing song choices throughout the evening. I requested to have a clock of 90's boy bands played and me and my girls danced the night away. As my husband and his sister engaged in an amazing rap battle in the middle of the dance floor! Lee Waddell we want to thank you so much for your amazing work, our guest had an amazing time and we are so very thankful for everything you did to play a part in our special day!

We CANNOT say enough about Lee Waddell!!! From the very start, we knew we had found an awesome wedding DJ. We had a great first phone meeting with Lee - he made us feel comfortable and secure right from the start. We told him what we were looking for and what we valued and he made us feel very confident in his ability as a DJ. Closer to our wedding day, we had a great in-person planning meeting with Lee, where we talked through all the pertinent details of our reception and really ironed everything out. This meeting was super helpful and really calmed my nerves about things going smoothly. On the day of the event, he arrived on time and was an AWESOME DJ ... from making our wedding party introductions, announcing the speeches and first dances, and then keeping the dance floor alive - Lee did it all! We even unexpectedly made a mid-reception switch of the dance floor location, and without breaking stride - Lee changed the location of his speakers without any complaint. In addition to being our DJ, we hired Lee to play the keyboard at our outdoor ceremony. We even asked him to play with a violinist that he had never played with before! Lee did this amazingly well. His ceremony music was beautiful and exactly what we had asked for. We are SO grateful for everything he did for us!

Working with Lee was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. From our initial meeting with him through the end of the reception, he was nothing but professional, kind, responsive and personal. We didn't give him much direction for what we wanted played during our reception but he took what few thoughts we had and turned it into an amazing night! The dance floor was filled from start to finish and multiple people have commented on how great he was. DJ Lee Waddell was absolutely fantastic! When we initially met with Lee, he made us feel very confident that he would provide a fun party atmosphere, but also in a tasteful way, which was important to us. Through the whole pre-wedding process Lee was incredibly helpful. He gave great suggestions, responded to emails very quickly, and even adjusted the uplighting colors he had so that they were more in line with the color of purple that our bridesmaids wore. At the wedding itself Lee was awesome - he kept the whole reception running smoothly by coordinating with our banquet venue for all of the reception events - the first dances, cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc. He also helped immensely by announcing photos that were taking place, and asking certain groups (college alumni, brides side of family, etc) to report for their photo. I didn't have to worry about coordinating any of these things - they just kept taking place seamlessly. Lee's music selection was PERFECT. We had told him we wanted the older generation to have songs they would dance to and enjoy, as well as the more modern party songs for our friends to party to, and Lee made the combination happen perfectly. The older songs he played were also great "oldies" songs everyone knows, so it was a win-win. Every single wedding attendee who spoke to me told me they loved our DJ! We had the dance floor packed the entire night. One of the best things I want to note about Lee is that he really listened to our requests - not just specific songs, but he understood the atmosphere we wanted, and he worked hard to make that happen. Some other DJs we had spoken with informed us we had to "let them do their jobs", but Lee was more than happy to really listen to what we wanted, and then made it a reality. And finally, his prices are extremely reasonable, and his equipment was a very classy setup. We couldn't have asked for anything more and I would recommend Lee's DJ services 100%!!

Lee was wonderful from beginning to end! My sister had Lee as her DJ as well, and he was fantastic so we decided to go with him. After we met with him initially prior to booking, Lee made us feel instantly comfortable! Lee is professional, and has a cool/calm/collected personality. When we met with Lee before our wedding at his studio, he played the piano for us, offered us a drink and food, and made us feel 100% comfortable. Can't beat the fact that he can play the piano for your ceremony! He designed our entrance song to be what we wanted it to be (a looped section of a song)... and he played all the songs we requested! Our ceremony was supposed to be outside, and we had to move it in due to weather, and I was quite emotional about it. Lee gave me a hug and was genuinely concerned about how I was feeling. He is a great guy, and my guests all commented on what a good party he threw! Can't go wrong with Lee!

Lee was our DJ and he was fantastic. My sister and her husband had their wedding a year prior to our wedding date and she regretted her DJ choice up to this very day. My husband and I did not want to repeat her horrible DJ experience so we made it a high priority to do our research. We begin asking friends and friends of friends for DJ recommendations. Lee was one of their recommendations. Our DJ choices were narrowed down to three recommended DJs. We also went to wedding wire and was delighted by the testimonies we read about his services. After meeting with Lee for the first time, my husband and I were sold. He understood what we wanted and was also able to make excellent suggestions that worked out very well. On our wedding day we had some last minute requests and he accommodated them no problem. He remained professional from our initial contact to the very end. His calm and confident nature put us at ease and it really helped to brighten our special day. During our wedding he was so energetic, enthusiastic and fun. My guests had a blast and even commented us on finding him. In fact, I have both a family member and a friend who were at our wedding who have used him for their special occasion. Lee was very accommodating and helpful during our wedding planning process. Even the day of the wedding he offered us help with some last minute details. The day of the rehearsal he drove all the way out to our venue to help us go over the timing of the ceremony music.

We had Lee DJ our wedding in September 2014. He was fantastic! He provided a lot of great energy for the dance floor and kept the mood going. In meeting with Lee prior to the wedding he was professional yet laid back. I had some specific ideas for music that I wanted played and he was very accommodating. Lee was our wedding DJ on Nov 8, 2014 and he was fabulous from our first correspondence to the day of the wedding! We really appreciated his calm and positive nature when we met with him. We were definitely looking for a fun, upbeat (yet non-obnoxious) DJ and Lee fit the bill perfectly. The DJ really sets the vibe for the entire reception; we had witnessed Lee in action at a friend's wedding and were thrilled he could take our date. Working with Lee on our wedding was an absolute delight! As a wedding planner, I had worked with Lee on several weddings and his professionalism was so impressive that I didn't think twice about hiring him for my own wedding.

My husband and I are so happy with the way he helped us plan our wedding music; he is a great listener and was very conscious of our ideas and preferences on the wedding day. We had requested "no party dance" songs - but when my flower girl made a special request for one he checked with me first before playing it. He always had our interests in mind and it he kept the atmosphere perfect.

Lee was our DJ for our wedding at The Boathouse in Lake George. He broadcasted our ceremony (mic for officiant + music), emcee'd the reception, and dj'ed the dance party. He was amazing and we had an absolute blast!!

From the very beginning of our partnership when he cut specific words out of songs with a 2 hour turnaround time on a national holiday, to the very last song on our special day, he was an incredible person to work with. We are so lucky we found him.

We were particularly grateful to have Lee at the musical helm as we tried to balance entertaining our guests with the last-minute changes of plans due to an allergic reaction I had from eating a nut-filled granola bar. He was so flexible and positive, and his ability to not only go with the flow but help re-organize the flow saved our wedding.

We whole-heartedly recommend him!!

We had Lee DJ at our wedding at The Sagamore and had a wonderful experience with him! :) He is so kind and knowledgeable! He is exactly who you would want playing music for you on your wedding day. DJ Lee did a phenomenal job at our wedding at the Inn at Erlowest! Not only was he instrumental in helping us plan every detail relating to music, but he actually helped me tremendously with all other aspect of our special day including the photography, flowers, and planning the flow of the night. He even brought a complimentary bottle of champagne for the longest married couple and helped me plan a surprise for my brother as it was his birthday. Lee also brought a projector with him so that some of our attendants could show pictures during their toasts. This man thinks of everything!

I was worried that we wouldn't have a lot of people on the dance floor, but DJ Lee fixed that problem in no time as he had an excellent read on guests and knows just how to get everyone on the dance floor! You know you have an excellent DJ when your friends continue to talk about him after the wedding and want to know if he can DJ the next happy hour! I would absolutely recommend DJ Lee to anyone who is interested in finding a DJ who will help you have the most perfect day ever! Thanks, Lee!

I first gained familiarity with Lee's expertise while I worked as a waitress at the Franklin Plaza in Troy, where Lee would frequently provide DJ services for various events. The weddings I worked where Lee was the DJ were always very well-executed and fun, with a great musical selection. I knew by the time my own time came to plan a wedding that Lee Waddell was the DJ I wanted! Lee was very friendly, organized, and knowledgeable in his field when my (now) husband and I first met with him to discuss a plan for our entertainment at our wedding. His organization and experience made planning out all the minute details of the reception very easy and pleasant.

The reception itself was a blast, and I spent the vast majority of it out on the dance-floor. Lee was also very good about incorporating unique elements into our party at our request--he was more than happy to help us orchestrate a dance-off between the Groomsmen and Bridesmaids!

Overall, I would highly recommend Lee Waddell's services. You can't go wrong here!

Lee was awesome. We knew he was our D.J. the first day we met. Really down to earth cool guy and we couldn't have been happier with him as our D.J. Made a friend in the process as well! We highly recommend Lee.

Lee handled our wedding with an extremely professional, yet personable touch. We met with him, always at our convenience, and felt very comfortable with him. He let us express and convey what we wanted our music, and he took the rest using his many years of experience to really bring that vision to life. Definitely a DJ that knows how to work the crowd at the event! He had all the music we wanted and went out of his way to find something he didn't have. He was always extremely responsive to both emails and phone calls. Can't say enough about him. We've been to several weddings this past year, and many of the DJs didn't really have the personality to work the crowd like Lee did. Also, the price was EXTREMELY competitive, which you'll find yourself when comparing him to other local area DJs.
Awesome experience in every way, highly recommended!

DJ Lee Waddell was great. He was professional start to finish. Our schedules are very busy and he was flexible regarding doing most of the business by phone and email. We met once and he got all the information he needed to make the ceremony and reception run smoothly. He respected our requests and everyone enjoyed the day. I would definitely recommend his services!

I had to get a Dj last minute, and thank god one of his wedding had cancel so he was available. It was the best choice we could have made. My family is Brazilian and don't speak much English. And I knew that lee spoke Portuguese. So since the interview with him when my mom was there was in Portuguese. And throughout the wedding he made everybody feel welcome and happy. Speaking both languages!!!! I would absolutely recommend Lee to anybody. He Is professional and fun. He would get on the dance floor and teach everybody how to do the dances... We had a super blast! Lee was great to work with and made our wedding day so memorable! He listened to us and really understood the type of reception we wanted. The music was terrific and set just the right tone for dinner and then more upbeat dancing afterward. We also had Lee do additional uplighting in the room, which was gorgeous. The day flowed seamlessly and he was an excellent, professional emcee for intros, our first dance, toasts, parent dances, cake cutting, etc. I especially appreciated that he saved the special songs we had requested for when the reception had quieted down a bit and we were actually able to dance with each other! It was a wonderful time from beginning to end; many of my best memories looking back on the reception involve the music in some way -- my only regret is that the day flies by far too quickly! Thank you for making our wedding day so special, Lee!

Oh my gosh..where to start! Lee was just amazing from the start! When we met with him the first time I knew he was the DJ for our wedding! He is very friendly and accommodating. He is "up to date" with his technology and knows music of all kinds. He plays the piano beautifully, he made not only our reception one rocking party but our ceremony was perfect as well with him playing the piano.

Our reception was so fantastic with all the props he used! He really gets the crowd on their feet! Thank you Lee for making our special day perfect!!!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Lee right from the start. He was the DJ at the weddings of a close friend and also a family member, so I had complete confidence in him from those weddings. Lee reviewed every aspect of our wedding day ceremony (he played the piano beautifully) and reception music/hosting during our comprehensive planning process, so that eased any worries we may have had. In our wedding, there were a few parts that were unlike most weddings and he worked with us closely to make sure those sections ran a smoothly as we had hoped. There were also a couple songs he didn't have that we wanted and Lee searched for us and quickly found them and added them to his collection. We had the most beautiful wedding day that ran off without a hitch and we definitely know Lee had a good part to do with that!

Lee was all that we could have hoped for and more for our wedding dj. We gave him samples of the music that we loved and he was able to roll with it to create the wedding party of our dreams! It's 8 years later and our friends/family still talk about our wedding and how much fun it was. We had a 6 hour wedding (compared to the normal 5) and Lee dj'd that entire time and kept people on the dance floor throughout the entire night, including during dinner! At the 6 hour mark, we still had 1/2 of our guests there on the dance floor. It was fabulous and so much fun! He got everyone involved and kept people on the dance floor! And his price was great as well! I recently asked my husband if we could have another wedding (of course he said no :) ) just so I could hire Lee and have another fantastic party - maybe for our 10th anniversary in 2 years! ;) I would recommend him to everyone!

Lee Waddell was our DJ at our wedding in 2008 and was by far the highlight of the evening, besides the bride of course :-). Throughout the planning of our wedding he was always available to discuss any details needed and was very open to all our ideas as well as full of great ideas for us as we weren't 100% sure of what we wanted. He got all my guest out there on the floor from the first song to the last. One of our personal favorites of the night was how he took the grooms men and dressed them up for a fun version of YMCA, it really got the crowd going and made for some great pictures and memories! Lee never hesitated to get right out of the dance floor and participate with us which is something we feel is an important quality for a DJ. We would without a doubt use him again for any other event as well as highly recommend him to others.

Lee added a special element to our wedding reception by gracing us with his beautiful piano playing during our cocktail hour, followed by several hours of our favorite tunes as our dj. We felt comfortable and confident that we chose the right person when we met Lee at his home to discuss our event, musical taste, and preferences. He was very accommodating of special requests, including my grandfather playing a special song for me on the piano during the reception. Lee is easy to talk to, a great communicator, and an awesome dj. He had all ages (6 to 80s) out on the dance floor having the time of their lives. I spent most of the night dancing dancing dancing. We had so much fun and received many compliments from our guests about the music. Thank you, Lee!

When we think back to our wedding reception there are two things that stand out the most to us- the food and the MUSIC! Lee was amazing from start to finish. He met with us prior to the event and was always available to answer questions and make any changes we wanted. He followed through on all of our requests and had our dance floor packed all night long. I would recommend Lee to anyone looking to make their event truly special.

Lee is the best ! He was referred to us by our local favorite, but very booked,
DJ. We were 100 % satisfied and happy with everything he did for us for our
daughter's wedding in Saratoga New York. We had 301 guests and Lee helped in making it a great party. He has great ideas and also easy to work with to make your event just what you want it to be. Lee was the DJ for my wedding and he, without a doubt, made our wedding awesome! I really could no lt recommend him enough. Prior to the wedding he was very responsive, helpful, organized, etc. From the minute the reception started he had everyone energized and out on the dance floor. Most weddings I've been to are pretty quiet until after dinner when people get on the dance floor- not ours! He had people up and dancing before the salad was even served. He had some contests to get people involved and played great music that everyone really enjoyed. He also brought along some fun props or the kids (and kids at heart). The dance floor was literally packed all night long. He also played paino during our cocktail hour which was a really classy touch. We are still getting compliments from family and friends about our wedding and our DJ. After our wedding, friends also used Lee as their DJ and he impressed us again. You couldn't go wrong by hiring Lee! When it comes to our wedding, it was the best decision that we made!

Lee was absolutely amazing! He was there to help us not only plan our celebration, but was a fantastic dj at our wedding. We used Lee for our wedding and he was so so so easy to work with. He was so flexible, agreeable, and helpful in us finding good dancing music. He also went the extra mile for us and downloaded some authentic Ukrainian music during the reception that made the brides side get out on the dance floor. Throughout the night our dance floor was packed and even played an encore song for the dancers out there after the reception ended. Lee was great and didn't make himself the center of attention at all. He kept every piece of attention on us. His music was at a great sound level where people could talk but also have fun. Lee even offered his piano services for our cocktail hour and our guests LOVED it. The piano added a great touch to our reception and was a classy feature. Lee plays a great piano and our day was all around perfect.

We could not have asked for a better Dj from Lee (aka: The Piano Man). He always prompted quickly to our concerns and questions, and his performance was fantastic. He implemented exactly what we wanted, as well as incorporating he own techniques to make the night very memorable! We also thought the personal meeting a few weeks before is a special add on that other dj services do not offer, as well as the live piano option that we used for our cocktail hour. I highly recommend his services if he is available for your date!

My husband and I couldn't have been happier with having Lee DJ our wedding! Not only is he completely laid back and easy to talk to during the meetings, he listenings, gives you feedback on your ideas, and guides you in your choices.
We had multiple couples at our wedding asking for his information! I would reccomend him 100 times over!
