One of the easiest decisions my husband and I ever made about our wedding was booking Lauren McGarry Photography for our special day! We met Lauren at a Wedding Expo in Albany, NY as we were on our way out the door and I am so glad we stopped to talk with her. Lauren's photographs were stunning & her albums were sleek and beautiful. She is such a nice and down to earth person, who took the time to know us as a couple and made sure she was able to capture all of the big and small moments of our wedding day. The day of our wedding was gloomy and storms were right on top of us, but we didn't stress because Lauren was so accommodating and took charge of where we could go so we still got great photos. At the end of the night, she even stood out in the rain to capture beautiful rooftop, stormy pictures overlooking the city of Troy, NY. I would definitely recommend Lauren to anyone looking for a truly wonderful photographer!

Lauren and her team were such a pleasure to work with from the very beginning! We were only about three months out from our wedding when I reached out and miraculously she still had our date available. I didn’t have time to do an engagement shoot, so I was a little nervous since I had never met her in person but she immediately made everyone feel so comfortable in front of the camera. She guided us on how to pose and prompted us in ways that made all of our photos feel natural, fun and effortless.

She sent our sneak peeks over right away and they were absolutely breathtaking. She also went above and beyond by sending us additional photos ahead of schedule after we experienced an unexpected death in the family shortly after the wedding, which meant more to us than she will ever know.

Her second photographer, Hannah and her assistant were also incredible. Seeing how much they all did, I truly don’t know how a single photographer manages a wedding on their own. During the reception, I barely remember seeing them, yet they didn’t miss a single moment. I have photos I never even realized were captured and they make me so happy. I also have so many beautiful photos of our family and friends, which is such a gift to be able to share and cherish.

I highly recommend Lauren. It’s so clear that she truly loves what she does and takes the time to ensure every couple receives the most amazing photos from their big day. I couldn’t be happier.

Lauren and her team were phenomenal to work with from Day 1. Her communication was always prompt, professional, and helpful. They brought such a calm energy and presence to our wedding day and one thing I never had a worry or stress about was our photographer/pictures. Going into our wedding day, it was so reassuring to have peace of mind when it came to vendors and Lauren and her team helped make our special day perfect. Would recommend endlessly & will continue to utilize as our photographer for all events/milestones in the future!

Lauren was incredible! She was so wonderful to work with! She was very kind, fun and easy to work with. My husband and I don’t take many photos, so we didn’t know what to expect with all the formal photos- but we had nothing to worry about!!! Lauren made taking photos easy and fun, and she was very timely to allow our wedding party and us time to go to cocktail hour! She was very go with the flow and was an absolutely perfect wedding photographer. Our sneak pictures came just a day or two after our wedding which was SO fun and the photos were better than I ever could have imagined! Lauren also sent over 3 photos I asked for early so I could give them out as Christmas gifts. I’d recommend Lauren to everyone with 100% backing!!!

We are ao happy we decided to work with Lauren for our wedding! She has such an amazing energy, so happy and fun to work with. We are in love with our engagement pictures and now wedding pictures. Lauren was so easy to work with and very flexible when it came to downsizing our wedding and not needing the second photographer. I would recommend Lauren to everyone!
