Blake is probably the most incredible photographer, guide, hype-man, comfort, and human being all-in-one to have with you on your wedding day. He captured nothing short of pure, astonishing magic with his photography and we are forever madly in love with the photos we have received. He's warm, hilarious, fun, adventurous, kind, respectful, and just really genuine. He's so calm, collected, and organized, and not only did he guide us in the best ways possible for our solo photos and with our family and friends, but he also allowed us to completely and fully immerse ourselves in our natural feelings of love, warmth, and joy throughout the day while all the while sneaking photos that embody just that, without us even noticing! From the very beginning of our wedding planning journey, we knew photography was one of the most important decisions we’d make. After our very first call with Blake, we instantly knew he was the one. His energy, professionalism, and genuine passion for what he does made us feel completely confident that he would capture our day perfectly — and he absolutely did. We first met Blake when he did our engagement photos, he took us up a short hike that had an amazing view of Lake George. He was so personal, welcoming, full of energy. He made us feel so confident and comfortable. The pictures came out beautifully and we knew we needed him to take our wedding photos too. We only got a sneak peek so far but we could tell Blake truly captured the love between my now husband and I. The photos also portray our personalities which I LOVE. Blake was absolutely AMAZING. We could not wait to get our photos back but it was definitely worth the wait. Blake was a tremendous help from the moment we decided that he would be our photographer, all throughout the planning process, and especially on the day of. I barely noticed that he was there. He allowed us to do what we wanted and not be overly posed. It made everything seem relaxing and we were actually able to enjoy the day because of this. Blake gave us some amazing shots at our wedding. After finding him it was a delight to be working with him and it basically felt like having a friend to take our photos. He also adds great creative touches that me and my life were big fans of. He was able to meet with us both in person and over zoom. We took pictures for our engagement shoot with our dogs at a park. For our wedding he came out and took great shots of the church and our families. Finishing off at our reception me and my wedding party had a lot of fun getting to pose and just relax while taking photos. Nothing felt overly stage and very organic.

From first contact through to today, Blake has been extremely professional and communicative. He responded to every contact in a timely manner and was clear and detailed in everything he shared about his services and how things would work the day of our wedding. He is also extremely flexible - when I changed the hours of the contract a few days before and when we decided to change the timeline of our event the day of!

Blake’s personality makes him incredibly special - he is enthusiastic, thoughtful, and playful and you can truly tell he loves what he does. His personality made us so much more comfortable throughout the day, and it felt like we had hired a good friend to capture our wedding. Every guest and vendor he interacted with that day shared the same sentiment and praised his upbeat energy and innovative take on traditional photos.

Blake asked so many questions leading up to our wedding so that he truly understood who we are as a couple and could best capture our personalities on the big day. You can see who we are in every single image, making these photos even more special. He also made sure to appease my more traditional parents who wanted to make sure we had all the standard portrait shots :) Because of COVID, our wedding was extremely small, and we asked Blake to focus on all the special moments of the day, so that we could share them with friends and family that could not be present, and that is exactly what we did.
