We met with Andrew at his studio months before the wedding to select the songs. I found this process a little daunting. I felt that it was hard to compare the first song we heard with the fifth song we heard. In the end I was happy with the songs that we chose. Andrew's music made me feel like the ceremony was something out of a dream. Just spectacular. I'm sure he could have played anything and it would have been perfect.

This review is well over due. , I had to review this individual as Id hate to see anyone get wronged like we were on our wedding day. We had Andrew booked to pay our wedding in Niagara on the Lake, which we was a key part of the wedding since we was a solo performer for my wife to walk down the isle, as well as was paid to play for awhile at the dinner after the ceremony. He showed up 1 hour late, and never answered his cell phone once while we were frantically calling him to see what the hold up was. He blamed traffic eventually, which was not the truth what so ever, just another excuse. Knowing my wife couldn't walk down the isle without Andrew there, and no calls at all to say he would be late was very worrying. He finally showed up, set up , and played what he had been asked to do at the ceremony. We weren't impressed to see he brought his boyfriend, and had him sitting with our guests, which was inappropriate since he never asked us to do so. He wasn't dressed for a wedding and stuck out like a sore thumb. When we were done the ceremony my wife and I left for the photos, and the guests went back to the venue for refreshments, and awaited Andrew to show up and play as well while they entered the venue and were seated. He was paid for 1 hour as well to play there, which he never showed up. We instead saw Andrew walking around the town with his boyfriend strolling around the town, which we both said, are you kidding me, he's touring the town with his significant other, and not fulfilling his duties. I couldn't confront him as we were taking photos and he was ducking in and out of shops once he realized we saw him, We sadly had paid him in full, contacted him afterwards and he gave us a long winded written excuse. Bottom line Andrew, you are a very shady character, lied to us to take our money , never fulfilled the contract you were paid to fulfill, and dodged us left, right, and centre. My recommendation is to take my advice as well as the one review below.

We booked Andrew for 3 hours for our wedding earlier this year. Because our ceremony was to start at 4:00 pm, we had booked him for 3:30 pm. He said he'd arriv 30 mins prior to set up & ensure he was ready to go for 3:30 sharp.

On the day of though, he didn’t show up until past 4:00pm (which I witnessed as I was waiting in the limo right outside the entrance) &didn’t start playing until 4:10 pm, yet he still left promptly at 6:30 pm!

I later emailed him to inquire about a refund for the time missed. He sent me lengthy replies stating that because the highway had been closed, it wasn’t his fault he was late and that it was LUCKY that he showed up at all!

I replied stating that while I understood his point of view, I didn’t agree that it constituted a fulfilment of our contract. He merely restated that even some of my guests were late (yes, but only some of them) and that he had “made up” for lost time since he provided pre-ceremony music (which doesn’t make sense since we had booked him 30 minutes prior to the scheduled ceremony start TO play pre-ceremony music).

He refused to refund me for the time I paid for but for which he did not deliver (and not because some of my guests were late, but because he hadn’t even arrived yet!) but tried to offer a 15% discount on future bookings instead!

He even mentions that our contract states that if the wedding is “delayed to start 20 or more minutes” that there would be a charge of $100, which is absolutely false, since our contract states that the OVERTIME rate is $100 if the engagement exceeds 20 minutes. I paid him for 40 minutes more than he performed and he still left at 6:30 pm - why would I owe him for overtime?!

He even tried to ask me for my videographer’s information so he could ask him not to include any of his music in the video.

If you’re looking for a professional musician who you can deal with on a professional level & who you can trust to fulfil his end of the signed contract, stay away.
