Hired Kevin for my wedding and he was perfect! He played exactly what I wanted -- but he was also able to read the crowd well, and switched to songs that the older folks were itching to hear (with me and my husband's permission, of course!) The dance floor was packed all night. He also kept to the timeline and made all announcements I asked from him. Great MC, super nice. Guests were talking about how cool he was! Communicative, easy to work with, tailored everything to my need, and he even played the super obscure things I wanted for my ceremony. Everything went off without a hitch.

Since the day we initially reached out to SODJLA to inquire about our wedding, Ajay, Aamir and the rest of their team have been an absolute pleasure to work with. They were accommodating of all our requests and patiently responded to all our questions throughout the process. We hired them for the professionalism, communication strengths and confidence they showed in assuring us they would be able to pull off our vision for music and lighting during the wedding weekend and they did exactly that. From the planning calls to week-of logistics to the impromptu changes and music requests, the team did a perfect job of executing as planned. A special shoutout to DJ Aamir, who is an absolutely amazing DJ, emcee, and person, for whom we specifically got so many compliments from our family and friends. We were nervous at the beginning of the process because of all the unknowns but came out of the wedding weekend with some beautiful memories on the dance floor. We are going to make sure to spread the word about SODJLA and Aamir far and wide in the near future!

If you are doing lighting at your wedding, Infinity is the only way to go! I cannot say enough positive things about their service, professionalism, and skill. Service: We worked with Steve and he was always prompt in returning phone calls and emails, which is something rarely encountered in the wedding industry. He also met with me in person before the wedding to go over the final details, special requests, and the overall lighting plan. I got the impression he really cared about achieving the “look” we wanted on our wedding day. Cost: I received quotes from 5 lighting companies and Infinity was by far the most cost effective. Steve took the time to go over options, listen to my requests, and present recommendations without stomping on my ideas or my budget. Skill: The ballroom looked awesome! For us, it was like stepping into a photo. I had showed Steve a photograph of what I wanted and he was able to recreate the “look” perfectly. Honestly, I was amazed! And it made such a difference in the overall look and feel of the room. Misc.: Infinity also provided a DVD player and a movie screen for a video that was played during the reception and a DVD player and speakers for our children’s room. Everything was set up and taken down exactly as requested. It was a huge relief to know someone was taking care of this (testing the sound, picture, etc.) and so much cheaper than using the AV package available from our venue. A+++ HIGHLY recommended vendor!

Michael was a wonderful DJ during our spring wedding in Ramona, CA! He had all of our guests dancing and enjoying themselves throughout the entire reception. His presentation skills during announcements were phenomenal. Announcements were a BIG things for my husband and I, due to the fact that we've been to so many weddings recently where the DJ's come off as either bored or rather cheesy. You won't have to worry about anything along those lines if you hire Michael. His voice was extremely confident and engaging during the entire wedding. We did things a bit differently and didn't have first dances with our parents. Michael was completely fine with our requests, and was able to lay things out where people didn't even notice! We had our ceremony, first dance, and dinner outside, while our dancing and cake cutting was held inside. Michael was flexible with transitioning in the middle of the night without any problems. He was prepared with his equipment and everything went smoothly. He's extremely entertaining and personable! I would highly suggest hiring Michael for your next event.
