Omg Rob Goodmonson from Second Song was the best DJ!! We loved him from the start. We were able to chat with him about what kind of music we wanted for each portion of the day. Everything went off without a hitch. He helped us with mics for speeches and got everyone on the dance floor. He has incredible skills in knowing how to mix from one song to the next and getting everyone up on their feet (even the 90 year olds!). We also rented our Photo Booth through this company and it was a breeze. Everyone loved it. I would highly recommend this company to anyone planning an event, but especially a wedding!

Luis did an excellent job. We were looking for somebody to provide ambience in a remote location with some non-traditional music requests, and Luis provided exactly that. We had a few guests comment that he was a 10/10 dj. Not only a professional, but a super nice dude. Thank you Luis/SecondSong for making the trek up to venue, dj’ing the event, and providing a great experience for us/our guests.

We worked with Enrique from Second Song. We did the Party Only package where he played for just 4 hours. We communicated a bit before the wedding and he was super receptive to and understood our vision. We met in person during the reception after he introduced us and our families and we started our first game. We filled out the music form Second Song provided us in detail as we had originally thought of DJing on our own with just a playlist so we already had a pretty extensive list of “must have” songs to play for Enrique to choose from. We also had our friends requests songs in advance as well and added them to that same playlist.

There were a few snafus but we don’t know whether that was on Enrique, our venue’s A/V team, or our wedding coordinator and her team:
a) There was no grand entrance music played as he introduced us. Not sure why given it was on the form but we went straight into the game anyways (which that music was played) so it’s whatever. There seemed to be quite a few audio issues around that time, so won’t necessary blame Enrique for this.
b) During the reception, we were going to have our speeches spaced out with our parents speaking once salad course was served, giving the guests a bit of a break, then our friends speaking during the entree course, another break, then we speak right at the end to open the dance floor. Again, not sure if our coordinator team just didn’t communicate this or because the food was running a bit behind that then it threw off the schedule but Enrique introduced all of our speeches (including our thank you) back to back. We held off on our speech until the end of dinner but in retrospect, having everyone’s speeches back to back was nice (and seemed to give the kitchen more time to figure out whatever issue they had).
c) I will say in general, there was much less mixing than we heard on Enrique's sample mix on the Second Song website. That was a nice thing btw was that you could listen to all of the DJs beforehand. As I mention below, it was still fun and the dance floor was packed all night, but we had just hoped for a bit more mixing of songs.

In terms of the dance floor, it was packed all night, which was great. Not sure if it was because where the speakers were placed made it too loud to sit at the tables thus almost forcing guests to go to the dance floor, or us placing the bar next to the dance floor so that you had to go past it to get a drink, or our photographer doing a group photo to open the dance floor and then another mid-way to keep the energy going, or even us buying glow sticks that got even non-dancers involved, but it was way better than expected. Our friends had a fantastic time. I was sweating, we were laughing. With our “must have” playlist being 4 hours and our dancing barely lasting 2, we weren’t going to hear every single song we wanted but what we got was fun enough and kept the crowd going.

Working with Second Song was easy as they were extremely communicative throughout the process so I would highly recommend the company for your wedding. Despite the snafus above, I'm still giving a 5 because as mentioned, not sure who is really at fault for them and we liked Enrique regardless.

We hired Rob C as our wedding DJ and were blown away by his service. He seriously could not have done a better job mixing the songs, picking the right music for the right timing, AND MCing our event. Rob was super friendly and attentive from the very beginning and really listened to what was important to us. He also didn't play any songs that we asked him not to play which apparently is not common knowledge to all DJs. We also hired two live band players to play alongside Rob and it made a HUGE difference. The players were fantastic and raised the energy like crazy. We are still being told by many people that our music was the best music they ever heard at a wedding, like zero misses. Every song was a banger and we had people dancing until the lights came on. We also hired a string trio to play during the ceremony and cocktail hour through Second Song. Also extremely talented and professional. They were able to play our requested songs with no issues at all. Our officiant requested extra equipment and Rob was able to provide that as well which was beyond sweet.

Second Song was an absolute dream to work with from start to finish. They provided us with an incredible DJ for our wedding weekend in Tuscany at Castello Di Vicarello, and people have not stopped talking about how much fun they had on the dance floor. Our one wish was that the party would keep going all night, and it did. From the first song to the very last, the dance floor was full of energy. We actually had to drag guests outside to make their shuttles because nobody wanted to leave. The entire experience was seamless. The music planner was hands down the easiest and most comfortable tool we used in the entire planning process. It made organizing our vision so simple and stress-free. On top of that, Rob, the owner, was unbelievably responsive and easy to work with. I don’t think I ever waited more than half an hour for answers to my endless questions. Our DJ, Cale, was phenomenal, and even the logistics of flying him to Italy were handled without a hitch. From start to finish, Second Song went above and beyond to deliver exactly what we hoped for and more. Thank you to Rob, Cale, and the whole Second Song team. You gave us the raging dance floor of our dreams, and we will be forever grateful for the memories.

We then had our first call w/ DJ Fredy and right away, I knew we were in good hands. From the start, he was professional, incredibly easy to work with & we could tell he totally understood our vibe. He read the crowd perfectly and kept the energy up all night. Our dance floor was way more lit than we ever expected, and so many of our guests commented on how much fun the dance floor was. We truly couldn't have asked for a better DJ for our wedding, highly recommend DJ Fredy!

We LOVED our experience with Second Song. We booked with them early on because of the outstanding reviews, and we can’t say enough how great they were and how they exceeded our expectations. We booked the package for ceremony and cocktail hour musicians, uplighting, photobooth, and DJ services. Absolutely nothing disappointed!! Special shoutout to our incredible DJ Cale who had the whole crowd going. Not a single song missed the mark! We also blended in Punjabi music, and he did so perfectly! The entire process was smooth from start to finish, and the open communication and fast responses from planning to day of were so appreciated. Cannot recommend enough for your wedding or special event!

Second Song made the DJ process completely seamless. They were so easy to plan with and incredibly professional. In particular, our DJ Rob Goodmonson was an absolute blast. He totally understood our music tastes and was so fun and friendly. So many people told us we had the “best dj ever” and the “best dance floor ever.” We told Rob we wanted people to dance their faces off and he DELIVERED. Highly highly recommend!

My husband and I absolutely loved working with Jeff as the DJ for our wedding! From the very first call we had, he was so kind and clear, which made us feel like we were in such good hands. Second Song, in general, was so easy to work with. The form they sent us to fill out our song preferences was really useful to prompt us to think through everything. On our wedding day itself, Jeff was an incredibly helpful member of the vendor team and handled the emceeing so beautifully. We had no tech problems--or if there were some, he solved them before they reached our ears! Jeff has the perfect amount of presence as a DJ--he has a great, fun energy but is happy to facilitate the party rather than being at the center of it! The dance floor was completely packed the whole evening, and our friends and family kept telling us, "The DJ crushed it!" We couldn't agree more! We would hire Second Song and Jeff again in a heartbeat.

Second Song is the perfect vendor -- they are so organized, so communicative and so good at what they do.

From the very beginning, they have a portal set up customized to your big day. They then have you fill out a google doc answering questions related to your wedding, and have you set up a meeting with your DJ to talk through the doc.

This a testament to Rob Corrall, the CEO of Second Song, who is extremely on top of it and built such a strong business. I felt in good hands for wedding weekend because of all the prep and hard work he and his team do in advance of each celebration they work.

We hired Second Song for a string trio for our ceremony, DJ for the evening and photobooth services throughout. The strings were a magical way to walk down the aisle. The trio did immense preparation ahead of time, learning songs we specifically requested for the procession. Our DJ, Jeff Collins, was amazing -- we loved the energy he brought to the evening. Bonus points: He made sure to get everyone's names right. And the photobooth was classic and such a fun memento from the night.
