The BEST DJs in the game. Michael and his team exceeded all expectations. We had the best night of our lives and Michael (and Matt the best MC ever!!) played a huge part in that. He brought alllllllll the vibes and created the absolute best moments on our dance floor that we'll cherish forever.

In the year leading up to our wedding, Michael constantly checked in on us and made the process so easy. He really takes into consideration the music you want on your day and the atmosphere that you want to set. Michael is also a true man of his art - he doesn't just press play, but really mixes the songs all night. We, including all of our friends, were so wowed :')

We can only hope that more of our close friends decide to get married soon so that we can recommend 949 Studio to DJ their weddings lol! We couldn't be more thankful to this team. We would get married a thousand times over and use Michael and his team every time.

P.S. If you're thinking about the dance floor lighting and the venue uplighting options, DO IT. They really create such a fun atmosphere and we were so happy we added them to our package.

We couldn't have imagined our wedding reception going any better than it did two weeks ago and 949 Studio played a huge part in making our dreams come true. Everything was on point, including all the songs and mixes that Michael played, Matt's (our MC) charisma and wit when speaking to our guests, the lighting set up around the dance floor, the mashup of musical chairs/scavenger hunt game that they came up with to keep everyone entertained during dinner, and just the overall vibe and energy kept throughout the night. We received a ton of comments from our guests saying how much fun they had, which is a huge compliment to Michael and Matt. If you're looking for a wedding DJ, you won't regret choosing 949 Studio!

After our wedding, our guests told us what they liked most about our wedding... and one was the DJ. We had a ton of people say our DJ was really good, and not just for playing during the dance part, but during other parts of the wedding as well (games, cake cutting, etc.)

Michael was super helpful throughout the process, helping us curate a playlist. He was super receptive about what we wanted for our music. He did a great job bringing our guests to the dance floor. We've been to a handful of weddings, and Michael did such a great job compared to other DJs we've seen.

We wanted a mix of EDM, pop music, and kpop, and was worried it would be too hard to mix but Michael did it very well!

Not only that, Manli the emcee was phenomenal! Everyone was raving about our emcee as well. She did such a great job and had so much charisma. She also translated in Cantonese for us, and did a great job. She was a natural performer!

Michael was such a joy to work with. Smooth communication throughout the process, easy to reach. Flexible and asked great questions to help us curate the party vibes we wanted for our reception dance party. Our guests let us know they loved the music and transitions (this is coming from actual dancers)! Would highly recommend as a wedding DJ!!

Michael was the most responsive vendor we had for our wedding by far. He was super communicative and went the extra mile in even helping us compare prices for other vendors such as lighting and other audio. All in all such a great human being.

Michael absolutely KILLED it on our wedding day. We were so overjoyed by not only how much our own community showed up for us, but how well 949 showed up for us. Throughout the whole planning process, Michael filled us with such reassurance and he brought a lot of care, warmth and ease to every step leading up to the big day. On the day of, 949 facilitated a very unique and creative game that all my guests enjoyed and the dance floor was so lively and fun the ENTIRE night! On my wedding day, I always felt that 949 was always considering and doing what was in our best interest as the bride and the groom and the 949 team worked so seamlessly with my other vendors.

We booked the officiant services with Matt and he created such a beautiful ceremony script for us and Matt helped create a tone of warmth and community that carried on through the whole night.

We are so proud of the vendor team we chose and 949 is seriously the best choice you can make for a DJ/emcee/officiant team. (not to mention the custom DJ booth with our initials and special lighting for the dance floor hehe).

Hired them for our wedding and they made it an unforgettable experience. Michael was kind and responsive to our email, and he worked diligently with us to curate the perfect playlist/mixes. Erin was our bilingual MC (Vietnamese & English) and she always had the room's attention every time she spoke. Wow, Michael and the 949 Studio Team absolutely killed it as the DJ and MC for our wedding! We received so many compliments from our guests and we absolutely loved the special experience they created for us. We needed a bilingual MC for our guests to translate between English and Cantonese and to keep the schedule moving- Manli did a great job managing the guests and maintaining a positive atmosphere.

Music was an important aspect of our wedding and Michael met everything we wanted from our DJ. We incorporated many music moments in the timeline: the grand entrances, first dances, cake cutting, first and last song, cocktail hour, dinner, and dance party. He asked as about the vibes we were looking for, our favorite musical artists and genres, and our priorities. He really paid attention to what we liked, incorporating music from our curated playlists. Michael is truly an expert DJ! He created custom song mixes for us for our grand entrances and first dance. And the most important part, the dance party. The vibes were perfect. It was the perfect dance party experience, mixing in our musical tastes and keeping the party going for 2 hours.

We wanted a club and party vibe, and that is what we got! Everyone had a great time and we received many compliments about the DJ and how much our guests had so much fun.

Michael is an absolute professional. We were referred to him for his DJ/MC services for our wedding. communication was flawless throughout the entire planning process. he was patient and took time to understand us and made sure to tailor the music to the moment. He blended songs in ways I have never heard before and it made a huge difference. He was also responsible for our sound. there were no issues/hiccups with the sound/quality his equipment. Michael did a phenomenal job. Our guests can't stop talking about the music. They had so much fun and he kept the vibes flowing all night! He also rolled with the punches as I was pretty picky and there were a few surprises that interrupted his flow, but he was flexible and helped make it our dream wedding.
