Toolbox Event Space is located in the heart of Dupont Circle. This unique venue was build back in 1878, and it used to be a carriage house. Iva and Alex renovated the space back in 2012, and started hosting events at the end of 2013. The space is over 5000sf, and it is devided to two floors. The magnifisant glass staircase in the middle blends the modern and the old together. The first floor has an art gallary which brings so much color and energy to the space. Our couples ususaly end up saving a lot on decoration. The architectural beauty combined with the fine art gives our clients an unparalleled atmosphere to celebrate their day. Toolbox Event Space can accommodate events of up to 250 people. Its dynamic interior has a wide variety of styles and décor that come together to create a remarkable environment for you to enjoy. Walking in, you will see exposed brick walls, wood floors, and a glass staircase railing. Custom lighting hanging from the ceilings and walls, along with vintage décor, helps transform this venue into the perfect party space for your wedding reception. A huge shoutout to our day-of coordinator, Kseniya, who was simply phenomenal. She was incredibly responsive, detail-oriented, and always one step ahead in making sure everything ran smoothly. From coordinating vendors to ensuring every little detail was in place, she truly made the day seamless and stress-free for us.

Toolbox Art Studio is my favorite venue to work! It's amazing to see what my many different couples have done with this amazing & unique space! It's definitely a "diamond in the rough" being a beautiful art gallery & pilates studio in the alley between Connecticut Ave. & 19th Street. The staff here is simply second to none. They are really easy to work with & they always make sure that I have everything I need in order to perform at a high level for my clients! The space is amazing, the staff are fully dedicated to making your day the best possible, and the prices are great compared to other places I've talked to & worked in that are of comparative location & size! Your guests will love this space, and your photographer will be able to come up with a number of unforgettable shots here! You simply can't ask for anything more unique, fun, and beautiful for your most special day!
